I have had a cough for about a month now. I also have a sore lower back, no sore throat and a mildly stuffed up nose.

At the beginning I had a pretty bad fever, but the doc put me on antibiotics for about a week and the fever went away. They took a chest x-ray and they said everything was fine. As soon as the antibiotics wore off, I went back to coughing, but the fever hasn't come back, but my back is now sore in the mornings (and my wife's too, with the same cough incidentally). I went back to the doc (same facility different doc) and he put me on some different antibiotics, but still this cough.

I have some light allergies, but usually they come with itchy eyes, runny nose, etc...and this doesn't seem to be that (especially with my wife sounding the same now).

Thoughts?
