Every other device has great download speeds, my ps4, iphone, laptop; all 18 Mbps. Except my ps3 which just started taking forever right around the ps4 launch. 4GB updates are taking 5 hours! Whereas my computer can do the same in around 30-40 min. Payday 2 took 3 hours to download and now the update is listed as 600 min! I havent port forwarded or DMZ'd it because it always worked fast before, why the sudden change?

I had until 11:59 to take the final exam in my class. I took the practice test at 9:45PM and Aced it in 15 minutes. Right at 10PM the folder for the final was taken down so I cannot take the final exam now even though according to the syllabus I should be able to, cutting it close, but not too late. I emailed the professor about it and am awaiting response. If she doesn't make an exception is there anything I can do? I needed atleast a 60 on the exam to pass the class, without it I will fail. Can I protest my grade to the dean?

My ps4 is being shipped by 2 day air UPS. It was shipped from MO Monday an arrived in IL Tuesday morning. It then departed from IL at 8:14 PM Tuesday, on its way to me here in Dallas, Tx. It is now 9:36 PM Wednesday, and it's status hasn't changed: "departed from hodgkins, IL 8:14PM." So it never got off the plane? The plane ride from IL to TX was a day long??! I've seen other posts of issues from the same location. Where is my package and why hasn't the status been updated? It was supposed to arrive by the end of today, and they don't know where it is?! I know this should be sent to UPS customer support but I needed to vent a little.

He's raining 3 pointers on me every time I play the Knicks in my career! Wade can't guard him, Allen can't, Curry can't and I can't! If he has the ball he'll stop what he's doing and leisurely stroll to the 3 point line and there's nothing that can be done about it. Dropping 30 points a quarter! How is this a "Sim"? I thought simulation sliders affect 2k nonsense but they only affect my team! Now if he somehow misses there's always an over the back call or a reaching call after the rebound. How the **** can 2k put this trash out every year and have no competition?? I want the game to be challenging but 2k has to cheat to make it difficult?? And why are the my career teammates so bad anyway? At 100% chemistry shouldn't we be on the same page by now? No, when we need a 3 and they're open they'll drive and fade...

It's ridiculous! The CPU will make them every possession (HoF, simulation settings) with guys with 70 3pt rating and I'm a 99 and make 1/10. The shot feedback says its a good shot, all green. I'm a 3pt specialist SF who can't make 3s unless I fade at the top of the key. How can 2k release this garbage year after year? And don't get me started on teammates who can't make a good decision ever! Ray Allen, master of the 3 point shot, will get a pass in the corner and enter triple threat or just dribble out of bounds trying to be wade. I hope EA puts some pressure on them this year to actually code the game! Especially with all the freezing when the upcoming schedule pops up. Is anyone else having these same issues and frustrations?

Is there a point at which a sound is so loud that you still receive damage to your hearing even with earplugs?

If a tv show comes on I may hate the episode but be content watching it anyway but if I'm on Netflix and do the same I can't watch 5 minutes of it. Is it the control that Netflix gives that makes things less interesting? So that when something comes on tv it's like a small treat? Does anyone else get the same feeling?

I've tried them and they sound bland, like if the tone knob is on 6. And don't go saying its my gear, I have a Mesa Dual Rectifier and Peavy 6505+ with Mesa and peavy cabs, and a Dean Angel of Deth with JH EMGs. So why are the strings so popular? They sound like mud to me. Anyone who uses them that can tell me what about them makes them your preference?

I have it set to do nothing when lid is shut but the screen goes dark. I use it for gaming (Alienware M17X) and use my tv as another screen for when I play racing games ( 17in is too small for driving). If I leave the computer open all is good but it gets in the way so I have to half close it, however if it falls shut both screens go blank. It uses windows 7, is there any way to get it to not turn the screen off when closed?

I found an unopened box with a baseball inside labeled "Autographed by David Hulse". It's still sealed so it should be in perfect condition, but I've never heard of this guy. Any ideas of how much I could sell it for? I don't want it and it has to be worth something right?

I received an email saying my computer has been shipped but it's been 4 days and the website still says "in production." I wasn't concerned at first until I never received a follow-up email from FedEx or UPS or anyone. I paid for 3-5 business days shipping and it was shipped Tuesday (allegedly). Has anyone had this same experience with Dell? My main concern is that I'm unable to track it and I paid for express shipping so that UPS or FedEx would be the ones carrying it. I'm becoming paranoid over this!

I'm ordering a laptop (Alienware M17X) and am wondering about ram. Will 32 give any extra power during gaming (say on far cry at max settings) that 24 wouldn't? Dell says 32 is recommended but I've read 16 was enough for any game, let alone 24 or 32; but I want my computer to be able to handle games to come for years. So will I notice a big difference with 32 vs 24? I have everything else taken care of with these specs:

processor: intel 3rd gen i7 3740QM

graphics card: 2GB GDDR5 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680M

hard drive: 256GB SSD SATA 6Gb/s and 2-- 2TB external hard drives

So with all this, will 32 GB ram be any better than 24?

Also, how would this laptop compare to a gaming desktop?

There are 2 slots next to the ashtray, 1 for cig lighter, 1 for "auxiliary devices". My gps and my phone charger will not work in it, only in the cig lighter. So what exactly is the other slot for? It's a 2004 impala

Google chrome is great, chrome book is great for college, and now they're offering 1Gbps Internet for $70.... 1 GBIT!!!! Time Warner wants $94 for 20Mbps, google wants $70 for 1Gbps!

When I lay down, I have to physically stiffen my back straight, then slowly relax or else my back starts spasming like I'm having a seizure. I'm 18. I also have slight posture problems. Do I need spinal decompression? Is there anything I can do like an exercise to help this?

My dog is 7 months and he won't stop tearing up my yard. He's digging up the fence, chewing up boxes in the garage, and even tore my mom's autographed vinyl record. And he keeps jumping up and biting hands,wrists,shirts, pants, ankles. We tried training him but he WON'T LEARN!! Spray bottles, rolled up news papers, nose flicking, ignoring, firmly saying no-- nothing works with him!

I need a laptop for college, my current one is slow and run down and I'm looking for an upgrade. I also would like it to handle pc games that are coming out. I have a limit of $2000. Any suggestions?

My friend bought a drumset and cymbals but can't get the white plastic center that holds them together off. He's done everything short of a blowtorch but can't get it off.
