Hi, I m looking to get a 4K monitor for my high end PC that I built. Monitors are a lot more expensive than televisions so I wanted to ask if there was a big downside to choosing this TV over a comparable monitor.

This TV (UN55KU6290FXZA) has a good resolution, HDR, and fast refresh rate which is great, but the latency is 20 milliseconds. Is this going to be too long to use as a good monitor?

I have Windows 10. I checked out the Battery Usage by App section and this is the result.

Is it normal for Windows Explorer to use so much battery?

If you created a box, refrigerated the inside, and insulated it as well as humanly possible (to a limited thickness of course) could the inside stay cold forever, or would the heat go through the box no matter what? I'm just curious.

The buttons on my Playstation 3 controller are randomly activating by themselves without being pressed. I don't know if it's the system that's doing it or the controller, but in seemingly all games it's been happening. For example, in GTA5, the radio randomly changes stations by itself and events like tennis and the triathlon quit even though I didn't press the quit button. Is it a problem with the controller? Did this happen to anyone else?

When I was a kid, I would often experience what I learned to be sleep paralysis quite often, but it worked differently for me than what other people report it being like. I could always move my body and I was aware of being awake, but not 100% aware. For example, I could make myself pull up the covers, but I couldn't get out of the bed or think to turn on a light. There would always be shadowy figures looking at me in this state, and sometimes they spoke. They always stood at the far end of the room and there were never more than 2. I want to know why my experiences were different than most people's, if the same thing happened to other people, and if there's a name for what I described.

I have a ATI Radeon HD 5870 graphics driver. The version installed is 8.14.10.716. Apparently, it's outdated because I can no longer run programs including Maya, Minecraft, and many others. I can't figure out how to update the driver though. When I go into driver manager and click to update the video driver, it says the best version is already installed. What do I do?

I am at my wits end. Every source I look for regarding my problems says I just need to update my video drivers, but this is no easy task. I have an Asus g73jh laptop with a ATI Radeon HD 5870 graphics card. My problem is many programs such as Maya, Minecraft, and others refuse to open, and users report such problems to be related to drivers. I have tried to update my drivers countless times, with either it telling me they are already up to date, or bluescreening. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers and I still can't get the programs to open. There is no evidence that the drivers AREN'T up to date, but I have no idea what else the problem could be.

I have 64 bit Windows 7 on my laptop and the other day this problem started-- almost every time I boot up the computer it switches to 256 color mode and I have to go into the control panel and fix it. I tried a system restore and malware/regular virus scans but it's still doing this. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Nobody can connect to my Minecraft server using my IP address! I can't figure out how to forward the port 25565 or whatever and it's really bugging me. What do I do? I've tried everything.

I bought L.A. Noire today on Steam and after more than 12 hours it finally installed. Now when I press play, the launcher comes up but when I press run game, nothing happens. I looked in the readme and it says make sure directx is updated, but I have the latest version. Why isn't the game coming up?

I bought the music video Pumped Up Kicks on iTunes and it completely finished downloading but when I play the video, it only plays a quarter way through. After about 1:15 the audio stops and it plays the same frame for the rest of the song. What should I do?

I have Windows 7 and for the last several days the same update keeps trying to install and fails every time. I am a freshman in college and I am applying for an game art position at a media center. The job information pdf says I need to include "A brief information architecture for the game’s accompanying website" (The game being a hypothetical game, named previously in the job info pdf) I do not know what an information architecture is. What is it asking me to do?

I am writing a cover letter for my resume, and I don't know who to address it to. The supervisor is listed on the job information sheet I received, but the director is listed first on the website, and the supervisor is listed as the junior creative director on the site, not supervisor. Also, if I do not know their marital status, would it be informal to address the cover letter using their full name?

When I try to view the new episode, Let's Kill Hitler on BBC.com, it says the video is not available in my area. Do I have any other options other than having my mom tape it on a VHS and sending it in the mail, because if that's what has to be done, then so be it.

Which baseball videogame is more fun: MLB10 The Show or MLB 2K11? I know the Show has Move support which I own so that's a plus but besides that, which would you recommend overall? (Also, I noticed that the cover of 2K11 is the Phillies here in PA so I wondered if the cover is different state by state. Would I have to buy it in Mass to get the Red Sox cover?)

I have a computer with 64 bit windows and I don't know how to tell which games will work on it. I don't see anything on the game boxes that specify. I've only tried a few games out and I can tell you that Spore and the Sims 3 work but Universe at War and Harry Potter Quidditch World Cup don't.
