My wifi connects and disconnects continuously on windows 10, while my friends wifi is working properly on window 7, my all drivers in device manager are updated in device manager? When i use wifi near the router its work properly but at little far distance my wifi is not working while my friends wifi is working well?

I have system which has 1GB ram, 2.00Ghz process and intel(R) core(TM)2 CPU and it work like P4, when i went to a internet cafe their i saw a desktop of the same specification but it work much more faster then my laptop? the difference was that i have window 7 and it has window xp? but that pc run very snoothly and speedy?
