Hi,

I'm not really a fan of the fact that people can see all of the videos that you've watched and commented on on YouTube. It's a major breach in my privacy since all of my friends/ family are adding me and all I do on my laptop is watch videos. Lowkey annoying having everyone know what you're doing. Do you know how to make this things private?

Long story short, she's primarily upset that I did New Years without her.

She texted me yesterday that it bothered her that I wasn't more inclusive with the New Years plans and that she could've took work off and she wanted to have a good New Years with me, etc. I completely understand that, and admittedly it was kind of rude to go make plans somewhere else. I told her I was sorry that I upset her and it was pretty unthoughtful of me, but there was also the fact that it was one of my other best friends birthday more than it was New Years, and this was the first year ever that I got to celebrate with her. She texted me back last night while I was sleeping saying how it really hurt and gave an example of how she once changed her New Years plans because of me and how she's disappointed and sad. At this point I'm a little annoyed since I already did apologize and say I was in the wrong. But this text, in my opinion, was only sent to make me feel worse. She could've said that all in the first text she sent me, yet she broke it up.

I don't know what I should say now since I've already apologized, and I'm not one to keep apologizing (blame my pride, or something...plus I find it redundant). I've already said my piece, and I honestly don't know what she wants me to say. I feel like if I say anything I want to say it'll come across rudely.

So what do you think I should reply with? Since not replying at all seems ruder, and all.

I've restrung my guitar with some pretty expensive phosphor bronze light strings, and I tuned my guitar. I was watching a lesson on how to do a basic G Chord (or D, I can't remember), yet my strings sounded NOTHING like his. I was also using a pick. I have a decent guitar, it's Art & Lutherie / Ami, and it's made out of cedar.

I'm sure the problem resides inside me, since even when I'm just plucking my guitar, it sounds like it should. It's only when I'm playing that it sounds completely off. And I know that my fingers are in the right spot.

Is there a technique for strumming it or something? I'm getting lessons very soon (which I'm very excited about since I've wanted to know how to play since I was 9 or so), but I wanted to know a little something before I went in. Unfortunately, everything I play sounds just wrong (unless it's tabs). Has anyone else had this problem? Is there something I'm missing?

Somehow I changed the time to an hour ahead, and I have NO IDEA how to put it back. I tried to set it to Toronto time (that's where I live) but it just shows me the time in Toronto, but keeps the wrong time as the main time. It even shows me the time for 'home' which is the correct time, but for some reason it's not the main time. I have zero idea whatsoever how to change it back.

Hi, so I met this dude like a year ago, and his best friends started dating my best friend. We haven't seen each other very much since we go to school in different towns, but I really like talking with him. We kind of hooked up last year, but haven't done anything since then. Hi. I've been searching for a job for a year and a half, and no one will hire me. I've had my resume checked countless times, I'm personable, and I have some experience and credentials. But no one wants me. My friends, who have no job exp, find it easier to find jobs. Why is this?

Hi. A week ago (a week and two days ago) I filled out a resume + application for this store, and the hiring manager looked very enthused. He told me that in one or two weeks they'll be conducting interviews. He said that the first interview will be a phone interview. It's already been a week, and still no call. I'm getting antsy and worrying that he's not going to call me. Should I call in a few days to see if interviews are underway? Or should I just have faith that he'll call me? Idk what to do because I feel as though he should have reached out already. Thanks.

I have been unemployed for a years time now, and it's really starting to get to me. From the moment I left my other job I have been on the prowl for another, yet not a single place has hired me. I've gotten one interview, and even then it was an ensemble interview. Every single person I know now has jobs, and half of those people haven't had any exp prior, whereas I had at least 7/8 months worth of exp in customer service. I'm really starting to get discouraged because I've handed out resumes on countless occasions and yet I come out short. My resume's good, I submit cover letters, I've got a license to serve alcohol, and I always dress sharply when handing out my resumes, but absolutely nowhere will call me back. I'm 18 and I've never been so broke. Some people don't even take their jobs seriously (will go in hungover & leave work early etc) but at my previous job I've never done such a thing. It might sound a little egotistical, but out of most of the people that I know, I appreciate the privilege of having a job. I seriously thought that this one place was going to call me, and they led me to believe that I was a shoe in, and still nothing. I'm literally at breaking point, and I spend a lot of nights just crying because my situations so unfortunate. I have a schedule clear as day since I don't have school until September (and I'm going to school in the area), yet friends of mine who have school 6 hours away in September have gotten a job for the summer. I'm really starting to believe there's something wrong with me. I thought I'd only be unemployed a few months, but it's getting downright sad. I've applied at some of the lowest ends in employment, and still nothing. I don't know what else to do, and it's really tearing at me.

Can someone please offer me words of encouragement? I'm at the edge. Thanks.

I'm finishing up 'Love in the Wild' and I thought that it was really fun, so I'd like something like that. I've seen most of the VH1 shows like 'I love Money' and things like that. I've also seen most MTV shows with the same type of formula. Are there any shows that you'd recommend that are like Love in the Wild where there's a bunch of singles + competitions? Thanks!

Hi, here's the deal: what I can't stop thinking about is VERY stupid. But it irks me. I live with my moms boyfriend, her, and my sister. My mom and her boyfriend usually stay in the basement, and my sister and I usually the top floor. So today I got back from the movies and I noticed that the bathroom was spotless. The bathroom is my area to clean, but I left it kind of messy before I left. Because of that, my mom's boyfriend decided to clean it. As in, REALLY clean everything. It bothers me so much because now he thinks we're dirty, & can't clean up for ourselves (he didn't say it, but I know he thought it). I can't even imagine what he was thinking about while cleaning. I saw him when I got back, and he was being very kind, but it still bothers me that now he thinks I'm to incapable of cleaning myself. I DON'T KNOW WHY. I feel like a disappointment.

In any case, what can I do to clear my head?

I know this sounds silly, but I can't get my guitar to sound the way I want it to :(

It's perfectly tuned, I just did the tuning, but whenever I try to watch a tutorial, my strumming always sounds weird. I don't know if I'm putting to much emphasis on one string or something, but it always comes out sounding awkward. It sounds fine when I play with tabs, but whenever I try to do actual chords like e minor or G, it sounds weird. Is the problem in me? I kind of hope it is, lol.

Hi, I just finished Nana a few nights ago, and I'm in DESPERATE need of a new well done slice of life! I don't want to watch Honey & Clover, it wasn't my thing, neither was Skip Beat, Kare Kano, Kaichou wa maid-sama, Peach Girl, the wallflower, Lamune, Itazura Na Kiss, Love Hina, Aishiteruze baby, and that's all I can think of now... But I've tried, and dropped all of these anime.

Clannad: After Story - Ending pissed me off beyond belief

D.N.Angel - I don't know what drew me to finishing this one ...

Death Note - LOVED it, although I'm not looking for an anime like Death Note.

Fruits Basket - Just no.

Grave of the Fireflies - Amazing movie, but I don't want anything like it right now.

Hatsukoi Limited - pretty good.

Howl's moving Castle - Good movie, but I don't want something like it right now.

InuYasha - My guilty pleasure, but I still don't want something like it.

I mean... I think some of her songs are fun (basically just super bass...). But when you look at the lyrics, they're really just not that good imo. I like Fly, but only for the chorus. I think the versus are very shittily written. Maybe that's just me?
