Our family is very involved with rescue dogs. However, they often come with various problems--some health and some mental health. The professional vets seem to prefer to treat them with drugs, but I wonder if someone could get to the heart of those mental problems in a more healthy way, such as a pet psychic. What say you?

I note some of the answers given to sincere questions at ANSWERS are either rude, nasty, cruel, totally ignorant, or even at times obscene. Is that supposed to be a crude attempt at humor or does hurting others make you proud of yourselves? I seriously doubt that these gross comments are made by Christians.

Are Atheists basically all Liberal? From what I am reading on ANSWERS, they all seem to follow a pattern of liberalism. Since they are non-believers of the Judeo-Christian ethic, exactly what do they use as a moral guideline? Is Liberalism their new religion?

I would sincerely like to know why American Jews for the most part do not support our only friend in the Middle East, Israel? It is a tiny country (about 9 miles across) with the closest thing to a real democratic society and wish no harm to anyone except to protect themselves. Personally, I am a Christian, but to me a friend is a friend.

He drinks a lot of water, but I am wondering how much is too much? They say this problem is not uncommon in some breeds. Any suggestions?

I can remember when tomatoes tasted really sweet and had that nice ripe tomato smell. At the grocery, they are hard, cardboard tasting, pulpy, and with no tomato smell at all. No amount of ripening helps them either. I will be growing my own this summer, and I would like a recommendation as to the best-tasting, juicy, and sweet smelling variety. I know there are some kind of heirloom, but they are not always available in my area of PA. I prefer to start with seedlings rather than seeds which take to long here to get started.

Some of the answers I read here demonstrate a total lack of how our government works. Do they still teach Civics in school? --if not, they should because it shows. Elections are held by the electoral college (i.e.) because we do not want the entire country controlled by the largest populated states on either coast. What about the regular guy who lives in the middle--shouldn't he have a say as well? If you distrust the folks in the government--stop voting for them because you believe they will give you something free. It doesn't work that way. You will pay for it, we will pay for it, and the politician will give you back very little. Remember, "Ask not what your country can do for you--ask what you can do for your country." This is still the BEST country in the world.
