I am just wondering how many christians or muslims believe they worship different gods?

p.s I have no religious belief I am atheist and not trying to have a go, just interested.

Its only a theory after all, we do not have the particles behind it.

Since its not a fact should intelligent falling be taught instead?

Seriously, if any one christians, muslims, atheists what evr could give me polite ways that would not be offensive to turn down a request to pray with or for someone. Like if you are in someone else's home and they say grace or at a event that might have some religious people or someone asks you to pray for them or with them?

What are good ways to avoid being rude or disrespectful? Christians how would you take it if someone did not want to pray?

We got this dog recently that does nothing but chew everything, dig holes, and is a pain in the rear. I can not stand it. I hate this dog. Now I do not mistreat it, but I want it gone. How do I get my family to get rid of it.

Where in Melbourne Australia or AUstralia or to whom can you go to if you have a dispute with you Karate CLub? Is there a government body or organisation that can resolve it? GKR who I am with has changed grading criteria out of the blue with not explanation or exception and will not even talk about it? They have made really immoral decision and unjustified decision that affect people with no justification or explanation. When I asked about it I got nowhere. Is there a government body who regulates this or to who can I turn to?

It is hard just to say leave as I have invested enormous time, energy etc into it.

A guy in the Maldives is been threatened with the death penalty because he has chosen to publicly say he is no longer a muslim.

It seems to me that Islam needs to earn our respect and so far it is not.

My kids want to join scouts. Now the local scout group say a oath to god and have prayers at the end. I asked the leader is the prayers were compulsory as our family are atheist. I reassured the leader if the prayers and oath to god was compulsory we would do that but if optional we would not. I reassured the leader that during prayer times we would be quite with our heads bowed and show respect while they prayed.

The leader said it was optional and not required. End of problem.

No! The leaders got together and said all the oaths and the signs had to be changed and the prayers discontinued because some atheist was in there causing trouble.

That is no what I asked or said, I simply asked if we had to and said if it was required we would.

I do not like the fact that the christians in there are now trying to use me and my kids to have a shot at atheists.

My child is 11 years old and goes to a public school in Victoria Australia. The teacher asks that any money for excursions and camps be kept in bag until 9:00am when bell goes. Now some of these amounts are $50 or hundreds of dollars. I do not think it ok for my child to be having that sort of money on her or in her bag. When I said that to the teacher she was very rude and said your child is going to high school you cant kept doing it for her.

I asked if my child can pay money to the office, hence not have money in bag and that was not a good solution. The teacher thinks it perfectly acceptable for a child to have large amounts of money to be held by a child? I do not think it is? What do I do?

The attacks in australia while not good are only a very small problem. Where is the outcry in India over christian girls being beheaded or raped by a gang that happened there not so long ago. India is the least tolerate of all countries. They have untouchables over there people who are considered too poor or unworthy of anything. They also persecute Christians and sikhs. So why is not the Indian media outcry over that?

Also America has the worst race relations in the world. Many of their native americans live in less than third world conditions. They have active KKK and hugh gang violence and these countries want to complain about Australia?

Why are they hypocrites?

I am having major problem with GKR Karate, does anyone know who I can make a formal complaint to as they are unwilling to help. What organisation or what can I do to get it resolved. I just do not want to leave as I have spent a lot of time there and do not want to waste it.

I feed my two cats three tins of 400g cat food a day and they are still hungry. They have been wormed, defleaed, all shots etc.

No matter what I do they eat and eat and eat. If I do not feed them they sit there and whinge and whinge and whinge. They are really skinny and not fat. No other cat or animal is eating food, they have been desexed etc.

I have some major problem with this Karate, they will not grade me, yet will not give me a straight answer as to why not nor tell me what to work on. I have tried talking to the regional manager no joy. I have been 18 months, I train 3 times a week and not disrespectful.
