  • Can anyone help me remember the name of a song?

I can't remember the name of a song, and Google search yields nothing. Does anyone remember a song that went something like:

If we don't praise him the rocks will cry out

    Blessed be his name

And if we fall silent the mountains will shout

    Blessed be his name

    Sing hallelujah

    Hallelujah

    Sing hallelujah

    Hallelujah

    Blessed be his name

It was a fairly upbeat song

  • What does a microwave mean when it says "Child"?

A simple Google image search for "microwave child" (without the quotes) will reveal several photos of what I mean. Could someone who knows what it means answer? No joke answers please; I'm fairly certain that it's NOT demanding child sacrifice.

  • How do I stop Microsoft Excel from turning integers into dates?

It keeps turning the number '19' into "1/19/1900 12:00:00 AM"

Any ideas? First idea that works without changing the input gets best answer.

  • Why are so many people so lazy?

Any idea why so many people are lazy enough so as to ask simple questions like "What is (k+7)(-10)?" In addition to this, why are so many people cheating by asking us to do their homework?

  • What does toiton(nm) mean from French to English?

I have to read Poil de Carotte for French class, but can't find the meaning of "le toiton". At first I thought it meant "little roof", but now I see that that's not true from its usage in the next chapter after initial usage. Could someone native to France please tell me what it means?

  • How do I prove that 1 minus .9 repeating does not equal zero?

I'm trying to prove to a friend that 1 minus .9 repeating does not equal zero, but in fact equals 0.000... 1.

His logic here is that 1/9 equals 0.111..., 2/9 equals 0.222..., 3/9 equals 0.333..., and so on until 9/9, which he thinks proves that 0.999... equals 1. However, I hold to my statement that they're not equal and the difference between the two is the infitesimal 0.000... 1. However, he counters this saying that since you can never get to the one, this number doesn't exist. Any help?

    What I've tried unsuccessfully:

    Converting to base 60

Trying to show him that the pattern doesn't hold at 10/9 (you can't very well have 0.101010... be equal to 10/9, nor is it 1.010101010...)

  • Is Holland another name for The Netherlands?

Please only answer if you are Dutch.

Someone online is adamantly saying that Holland is another name for The Netherlands. However, I know that this is only a province of The Netherlands, and not another name for The Netherlands. I've tried to tell him this, but at this point, he'll only accept a Dutch person's opinion.
