I had a dream last night that I was riding on a rhinoceros. I started off in my front garden, but soon I realised I was in Narnia. I jumped off my rhino in surprise, when Aslan pounced on and killed my rhino. I was shocked, because I always thought that Aslan was supposed to represent Jesus. How could Jesus do something so cruel? Anyway, it got worse because then I picked up a crossbow from the floor and shot Aslan in the head, killing him! Then, from out of nowhere, Samus from Metroid appeared. She walked up to me slowly as the snowy background started to disappear. Soon, she was right in front of me. She paused for a few seconds, before shouting "SHAME ON YOU!", waking me with a start.

What does this mean??

Basically, I've got this quote from the English translation of The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time that I want to be in kana. This is the quote:

"The rising sun will eventually set,

A newborn's life will fade.

From sun to moon,

moon to sun...

Give peaceful rest to the living dead."

Which zeldalegends.net has told me was this in the original Japanese:

"のぼる太陽　やがて　沈み

生まれし命　いつか　消えゆく

And then, taking out the Kanji and replacing it with what I think the appropriate Hirigana would be, I got this:

つき は たいよう に …

いける ししゃ に は 、

やすらか な ねむり を"

Now, my Japanese is awful so I have a few questions. How similar to the original English is the Hirigana? Does it make sense? Are there any obvious mistakes (e.g. in identifying Kanji)? How does it flow? Does it seem like the information I was working with regarding it being the original translation correct? If you were to, out of context, translate the English into Japanese, and the Japanese into English, what results would you get?

Last night, I had a dream that I was chosen to go into space. Once I was up there, something went wrong and I was thrust out into space, losing my wallet and keys in the process. As I drifted through the empty vacuum of space, I contemplated the meaning of life and came to the conclusion that death and the Digital World (from Digimon) were one and the same. As a braced myself for this fate, the unlikely happened and I made it home ok. Growing bored of my non-space life, I later went up again, but this time to the moon. I was joined by my girlfriend, my housemate, and John Cho, and we were the first people ever to get high on the moon.

Last night, I had a really strange dream and wanted to know if it could mean anything?

It started with me being on the number 37 bus with my friends Andy and Pamela, except we were all cakes. As in, I knew who they were but we all looked like cakes. Then, a giant rhinestone-studded gloved hand opened the top of the bus and picked out Pamela, presumably to eat her. The scene then changed abruptly, with Andy and I dressed in sombreros, attending Pamela's funeral. I approached her coffin, expecting to see my deceased friend, but the person inside was me! I looked down, and I was Pamela. Suddenly, I started falling through the floor, seeing different shapes and colours fly before my eyes until I hit the ground, waking me.

When I woke up, I recalled all of this. The weird thing is, I don't even have a friend named Pamela. In my dream, I took it for granted but my mind fabricated her completely.

What does this mean?

P.S. I really like Jurassic Park.
