If you are on birthcontrol, and you are on the sugar pills and have sex, how likely or you to get pregnant?

I am on birth-control for 1 month. I was on the sugar pill when I had sex, and the condom broke. I took plan B. So basically what I am wondering is at what time am I suppose to get my period on the sugar pills? I just took the first one today.

I just want to know if there are some simple reasons why girls can't use bc.
