Do you think Sen. Schumer believes what he's saying, or is he simply assuming we're not bright enough to recognize a lifetime pol's mindless pandering when we see it?

If there weren't any (after all, the Squad was made up of freshmen during 2019-2021), how many minor pieces of their legislation became law? How many of the pieces of legislation they introduced made it to a floor vote? Out of committee? Onto the table in committee? Anywhere? Anything? At all? If not, what were they doing for those two years – besides tweeting, posturing, and preening, I mean? Anyone? Can anyone help?

For example, one can imagine the following: firearms with the capacity to shoot more than one bullet per minute are outlawed (after all, who...NEEDS...them, right!?!), and so the only firearms permitted to American citizens would then be single-shot weapons.

This makes sense, right? I mean, from a particular Firearms-Are-Bad point of view.
