My dad needs to renew his HGV license. He's 66. Will the examination be any different considering he's ancient? And should he ask his employer about where to get it done or organise it himself? How much should it cost on average and where should it be done?

She also is carrying a reed, and is dressed in blue. She has a halo round her head. I know there is a Saint who is depicted with a tower/castle behind them but don't know about the crown...

I saw her on a little holy card but it didn't say who she was. She has a purple cloak and headband on, plus her halo and her dress is edged in gold. She is holding a Lamb and some sort of leafy reed. The back ground looks like lilies and she is looking upwards.

Any ideas on who she could be?

I saw her in Birmingham (England) when I was shopping. She had a short veil that was black with a white band around her forehead and ears so you could see only her face. She had a long sleeved black dress/habit on that was very loose and was very long, like the ones the Muslim women wear. She had a thin white rope around her waist and a simple crucifix around her neck, and had no collar. The dress had a 3 inches or so split at the front of the neck.

I was wondering if she might be a hermit/anchoress or a consecrated virgin. Maybe she was from an overseas community just visiting this country. I have no idea about any of this. Can Catholics out there help me?

I want to do stuff like put faces on different bodies and put in backgrounds behind people that weren't there before. Photoshop is way too expensive for me but I've heard that there are some good editing stuff out there. Can anyone tell me of any alternatives that will do what I want it to?

Is it actually worth buying these things? Do they make styling more simple?

If I refuse treatment as it is painful to me and I die...is that suicide?

If I sign a directive that says I'm not to be resuscitated if I go into cardiac arrest or if I decide that if I was in a vegetative state I'd want them to let me die then am I in some way killing myself?

Is there anything in the scriptures that clarifies any of this? I really don't want to kill myself, I'm just worried that I might do something inadvertently and not realise that I would be contributing to my own death.

Sounds silly, but it plays on my mind a lot.

I've read that Bumpits work for some people and not others. Also heard that with that Topsy Tail hair thing. Has anyone actually bought one of those styling things and found that they can do really nice styles that are simple to do? All the ones I've seen here in the UK look really difficult to manage to do yourself.

I bought some sort of fabric/elastic thing a couple of years ago that rolled my hair up into a bun then folded into itself to hold it in place. Trouble was, I couldn't do it myself as it was way too fiddly to do without two huge mirrors and my Mum helping me! I've always shied away from those things since, but saw a couple on Ebay and also in Claire's Accessories lately so wondered if anyone had any ideas about ones that are easy to use and are worth the money.

My hair is quite thick but it is also very shiny and pretty straight once it is dry. I don't want things that will just slip out of my hair as they can't get a grip on it. My hair reaches half way down my back and is dyed red.

I've been reading about Catholics who "offered up" their pain and suffering to help others. Is this idea Biblical or is it something the Catholic Church teaches because it was suggested by a pope?

We live in a big dip so we've had to have an extra long TV aerial, which was pretty good up until we got a TV that had built in Freeview. Now the signal on the main TV can be patchy on Freeview but we can get BBC 3 & 4, those Five channels and BBC News channel. Also can occasionally get others too.

However my TV upstairs has very patchy signal, even though it is connected to the same outside aerial as the main TV downstairs. My TV has built in Freeview but only seems to get BBC 3 and the BBC News channel, and that is only late at night (after about 10pm) which I find strange. Also it has a very poor signal for BBC 1 when it's on terrestrial TV without the Freeview enabled and the Freeview signal for BBC 1 is poor too. On the Freeview it won't even pick up Five. What on earth is wrong with the signals? Can anyone suggest anything?

Can anyone recommend the sort of make up I should wear, maybe different looks for different times of the day or different occasions?

Have been taking pretty high doses lately and have had bad wind and an upset stomach ever since I started. Also have been having bad heartburn. Are these all from the Vitamin C or maybe a reaction to the type of gel capsule that the vitamin comes in? (I can't chew tablets so I have the gel caps that you can easily swallow.)

I like the mascaras where you put a base coat on then the colour but am never sure which brand will look better. I also wear glasses so I need my lashes to stand out. Which of those two-step/black-white sort of mascaras will do the job?
