Must be ugly outfit on an ugly woman day at the U.S. Open. That is one homely broad. I feel bad for her. But you'd think she could at least have a little better fashion sense.

Stuck living in a mobile home park. I own the mobile home, but pay lot rental. Landlord provides water. DNR recently tested the well water (2 months ago), and it was found to be unsafe to drink without boiling first. The landlord has not said when or what the solution to this problem is to be. Do I have any recourse? I live in Wisconsin.

That feels like choking the next person that confuses "lose" with "loose"? I know I shouldn't be so petty, but it is one spelling error that drives me absolutely crazy. Sigh.

Should have been watching closer. Saw him treated for an injury, and the next thing I know he got a warning for something, then foot faults intentionally to lose his serve, then retires. Did anybody else catch the whole thing?

2 year old Tosh. Been a problem from day 1. Dual core cpu, 4 GB RAM. Set to "performance" mode. Not multitasking. Shouldn't be a problem, right? But any video file stored on my laptop's HDD skips every once in awhile when played, and more often during action type scenes. The problem persists even though the HDD has been swapped out for a new one (needed more storage space). I added a second HDD in my optical drive bay a couple months ago. The very same videos when stored on the secondary drive play flawlessly, and NEVER skip or stutter. Both drives are the exact same model 500GB Western Digital Scorpio Blue. Please keep in mind that this has been a problem since day one, when the original HDD had very little on it.

Any ideas?

OK, so maybe it sounds petty, but as I'm watching the doubles match involving the Williams sisters and two Russians, I've finally realized that I've had my fill of screaming women in tennis. I still love to watch them play, but I have to mute the sound. I can understand a little grunt, but screaming?

For the life of me, I can't seem to remember it.

Currently watching the Dent/Navarro match on usopen.org, and Bud is doing commentary. Being an old fart myself, I've liked the guy since my entry into tennis in my early teens in the 70s.

Anybody else love this crotchety old geezer, or is it just me?

I've always been curious as to what Richard Williams' profession was before Venus & Serena made it big. Also, he coached his daughters, so I wonder if he was a fairly good player (not pro, obviously) at one time.
