The Pain is Un-Bearable

I consider myself to be more anti-religious than anti-deity. I am open to the possibility of a higher intelligence but I am 100% sure that all of the world's religions are completely false. I am critical of non-thinking Christians and non-thinking atheists. I require an argument to be rationally and reasonably based before I'll have respect for it and I always ask for (and check) sources when outlandish claims are made. I am shocked by the lack of thought that many people seem to put into their personal philosophies and I often answer thoughtless questions with flippant or satirical answers because I believe that these sharp answers are often more effective when dealing with people who are genuinely thoughtless.
