I am really young and have been noticed for my work with the arts. Yet, I know I can improve. I am 13 years old and am thinking about improving my writing skills soon. Here are two of my poems. The first is a new one and the second is my favorite.

What is life

If it ends with death?

What is love

If you feel broken?

What is a beginning

If it always ends?

It is all worth it

I can see now

To live freely

And wonder about

With almost no goal

Except to carry on

This is a game

We seem like simple pawns

Yet as I seek

To find meaning

I come across

Something more achieving

We are truly one

A whole, a piece

Something unique

In the least

So now, I will answer your questions

With knowledge and ease

What is life

If it goes on forever?

What if love

Without risk?

And what if every end

Didn't result with a beginning?

Black and White

There is no difference between black and white

No distinction among a daisy and rose

And rain and shine are not unlike

When a bird sings and cat growls, there is no irregularity

We are all one, not two

And must stay that way

On our journey into

Life's endless abyss

Together, we can make a difference

No one can be judged

Without personal connection

No one can be put off

For anyone of more importance

I have green eyes and brown hair. My face is round and I have full lips. I want an easy makeup look because my life is busy and I want a natural look. I am not a fan of smokey eyes and I an considered younger so I don't want to over do it. Thanks

I am out in the sun and lay with lotion on. I have also used this special lotion that makes you tan. Yet, it didn't work. When my friend tried it, it did work. Is that weird? Thanks

For my schools Pi Day, we can get extra credit by making a creative pi project. I want to make a pie, cut it into 3.14 pieces and make a catchy phase. I can only come up with Got Pi? though. Any other ideas? Thanks a lot.

A creature stalks

It brings love and despair

A deep shadow

Life's Journey

pondering and wondering through a maze

stumbling and beseeching with a weary gaze

decision, decisions to unlock

desires beond and soon sought

the maze, my dear, is a horrific place

yet there found is mighty grace

to there is many friends to find

but sorrows to mend and bind

love is found among the maze of tears

secrets to bend and daunt the ears

a flower is there to grow and care

then kill and set aflare

we all visit this maze, o friend

all inspect and attend

to search for all they ever wanted

now find themselves hidden and haunted

this maze is found right where you all

not anywhere, not even the stars

we stay there till ones last breath

as we seem to enter peaceful death

hola! ok soo i just thought of a poem. its gonna be a free verse and meaningful. its gonna be called dont be afraid of the dark..... and mi gonna start like saying dont be afraid of the dark, for the dark blah blah blah. soooo i need ideas of the things people are afraid of like when you were a kid like the monster under your bed or thunder storms thanks!

so there's this guy in my math class and he is SO annoying he "picks" on me and this girl next to me but when he like plays with her, she asks him why he doesn't do anything to me. he just looks at me and comes up with an excuse. but..... he still plays around with me?

I just thought of a book plot and I thought of a possible prologue for it. Is this good enough that you would read it? Criticism is welcomed!

The waves crashed beneath me. I was trapped.....And alone. The pirates danced behind me, obviously drunk. Coldness grew inside me, a blizzard, slowly getting worse. I saw no end to it. I didn't know what the thieves wanted with me, or what they would do to me. I only knew I had to get out..... I climbed up the side of the ship, and jumped into the freezing water.

I am getting temporary highlights, yet when i have tried them in the past, they never show up. im not sure if it was because my hair is too dark or it was just the brand. SO what color do you guys recommend for brown, thick, long hair????????
