A friend of mine is running a club on second life saying you can make real money via something called lendings. How does this work? Has anybody made any real money on second life?

I had some friends that were having problems with their cat, the cat was fighting bad with their other cats and. they were going to put it in a shelter. So then my buddy calls me with long sob story of how bad things are going to be for the cat and begs me to take it. I agree to take it for a week, maby a lil longer. My place doesn't allow pets. After that week goes by, im like ok here's yalls cat. They were saying we don't want that cat back in our house and shes bonded with you, shes yours now. WTF? Ive tried various shelters and all are full and nobody wants her. Any advice?

His answer was jedi because of truth, justice and righteousness. I thought about that answer and Im like most of that would lead him towards the dark side. Justice is relative towards certain people. I mean justice for some is fair but to others that same justice and be seen as biased. The righteousness comment i thought could also lead to the dark side because well its more a attitude, that whatever actions you do are justified. and to him, that's the right thing to do. For example, " I had to kill everyone in the village in order to clear the world of that one slightly tainted dark side person." Am I reading too much into this answer?

Me and some friends are part of a new age/ metaphysical/magic discussion group. So our group met at a restaurant and had a quiet area in the back of the restaurant. So during our discussion we had tarot cards and various things out on the table, along with us holding our conversations. It was on past lives, past memories, psychic abilities, ghosts, and stuff like that. A couple was seated near us . And they didn't bother us only it seemed like the guy was leaning in close to our table alot but we ignored him and kept talking. the lady of the couple took out a pen and wrote a long hand written letter and gave to one of our group members in the restroom after a few of us had left. Her letter was full of how evil we are and what we were doing was evil and what the bible says and chapter and verse. . My question is how do you respond to this?? What do you say to this? The couple left shortly after giving her the note.

Was out with a friend and somehow got into topic of religion/beliefs. Im also more spiritual than i am religious and i am very open to other paths. I personally don't think that 1 religion is right for everybody on the planet (God likes diversity imho) and I think each person can find their own way to the divine however they recognize it. For me, im a big believer in reincarnation, spirit guides, aliens, magic, psychics. among other things. I had recently gone out to a speech given by a indian monk guy from india. It was very informative, talked about his beliefs and stuff and I was telling my buddy about it. after I got done he kinda gave me this look and said "i wish you wouldn't be into all this new age stuff. I need to take you to my church so you can hear THE TRUTH." Just for a heads up on my friend, hes told me Islam is from the devil, aliens if their are any out their are demons, or they don't exist because they wernt in the bible. So what do i say to that? thanks but no thanks? Its too late? lol Im just looking for advice here. thanks.

Did your parents tell you when you were little? Did a holy book tell you? Do you just feel its the right path for you? Did a priest tell you? Why is it you believe what you believe?

Ive dreamed that ive been burnt at the steak, and ive been murdered back in the 1950s among other things. The detail of the dreams is so vivid. I read something awhile back that said if you died in a "bad way" a part of that death would continue on to the next life, either as memories or dreams or strong attachments to certain objects or time periods, with no explanation why.

Is there any reference anywhere either in the bible or other religions that say possibly where Jesus was during those years? I heard from a debate that he was in india studying Hinduism but threes no proof for that anywhere.

Do you think realistically any of you would survive all the way through? No you can not bring weapons from our time/world to theirs. Why would you make it and would you make any changes along the way from the book/movies?

For example say you wanted to witness the Crucifixion of Jesus, or maby to change that, or be around when the Renaissance was happening, or maby debate with the ancient philosophers, or change the church? Or learn what the ancient pagan rituals were really like? Why would you go back and what would you change?

on people for not believing? Guy i work with was telling me that for the most part the people of Japan are buddhist and because they don't believe is why got the whole tri-fecta of the earthquake, Tsunami and now the nuclear disaster to hit them.

I am of the opinion that numerous disasters all over the world, I don't consider any of it/them to be " punishments from God for X" How would you respond to them, what can you say to them?

I was never raised in a religious house. I mean like we went to church like once every 4 or 5 years and even then it was random. not christmas or easter or anything. just some day.I never thought of religion all that much and I overall thank that God enjoys diversity. And no I dont have any issues wwith Jesus. Jesus is cool in my book. I would never tell somebody that because you don't think of God like I do, your going to hell. My thoughts are that, If a person is lets say Buddhist and they have been buddhist all their life, then who's to say if that person reaches their version enlightenment or not? Threes no reason for that person to be judged by another religions laws. And this goes for all religions, Islam, Christianity, Judaism. And also the other religions, Hinduism, paganism, and various ones from the far east. Other than that I also believe in the ancient gods polytheistic beliefs. the ancient Greeks/Romans, Egyptians etc... Im like who's to say they didn't exist? I think of them like ok for the people of those times, their Gods( and Goddesses) were just as real to them as God is people now. If a person leaves one religion( say their birth religion) and finds another religion that fits them better, what is so wrong with that? Maby that person was never meant to be of that religion in the first place. and maby God led them to that new religion they chose. Or at least, led them to a relegion where his/their message would make more sence to the person.

They say that God is Love and all about compassion and fairness and stuff. Does it make sence for a person to believe some things in a holy book and completely not believe others that are a part of the book and go to hell for it? What are your thoughts, or am I just crazy?

I bought a used 20gig system from a store and it worked for a while then it had some problems, so i sent it to Xbox who told the the system had been tampered with somehow, and they wouldn't touch it. so i took it back to the store and they gave me another refurbished 20 gig. Same problem happens. this time i get the RED RINGS OF DEATH. I send( the new refurbished system) to Xbox who told me this system too was tampered with! I send it back to the referbishing company and they told me they could fix ( the refurbished one) it for 89. Or Xbox said they could replace my 20gig with another 20 gig they had with a warranty for 119. I see now that Xbox has just released a new NEW 250 gig xbox360. What do y'all think I should do?

You know the ones. Why in my day we had to walk 15 miles through the snow to get to school. Or like ones where you kids have it so easy now.. in my day all we had to play with was a rock and a pile of dirt! and that's the way it was and we liked it! Did your family ever tell you stories like this? whats the best one you were ever told?

I was at a restaurant in the middle of dinner and somebody came to me and gave me a religious tract. I think it was from way of the master... or at least it had the same elements in it. are you a good person, have you ever stolen, lied, lusted blah blah blah. Anyway, have you ever felt like you need to go change your life after getting one? Do y'all think they work? Have they ever offended you because you flat out believe differently, if so whats your reaction?

How would america look different today with him as president. What kinda laws do ya think he woulda put into place?
