I thought the prophet (pbuh) said an arab is not better than a non arab nor and vice versa. Plus Allah says he has made us into nations and tribes so we may know one another, so why is it some culture who hold on to this beautiful deen overlook this. People are more concerned with culture and trandition than with their own religion. in the end its your deen that gets u somewhere in life and in akirah. My cousin wants to marry a guy whos of a different race but is a muslim and theyve know eachother for 4 years, however my family reject this because he's white and is not from our race. We tried convincing them atleast meet him and judge his character rather than his skin colour or his background. I've met and he is genuinely one of the nicest people ive ever met. His family love my cousin and even though theyr not muslim they still support them 100% it makes me feel so ashamed that his family can do this yet ours still lives in the dark ages. It also angers me that they tell her if she chooses him they will disown her and will want nothing to do with her. Me and my other cousins as well as her older brothers support her yet her mum dad and aunts are against it and are telling her that her marriage will not be valid. What do you think can she go against her parents wishes cuz this is not a valid reason, its racism and racism has no place in islam. She has spoken to the imam and he supports her decision, but there is still emotion blackmail from our family that her marriage will jot be blessed and is bound not to last.

My teacher is an atheist and she annoys the hell out of me..sometimes i just feel like giving her a piece of my mind except that i try and hold it back out of respect. I mean i dont shove my faith down her throat but she's always telling us God does not exist I'm telling you now He does not exist! And im just thinking you say that with soo much clarity what makes you so sure.

So here's my question to atheist...you think we're all delusional by believing in something we can't see and according to science "has not be proven" Since none of us is soo sure what if after we die there turns out to be a God then you have lost big time...because if there is no God I have nothing to lose and if there is a God I have nothing to lose still because i believed in Him..where will you stand if there was a God and you did not believe in Him..have you ever thought of this? or just because something is not there for you to see it just doesnt exist and you reject it without any thoughts? or is this rejection out of fear of what is waiting for you after death?

consider this carefully because you would never present an argument without two sides to it..

There were jinns who appeared before my grandad because they claimed that he had 'saved them'. My grandfather's brother was also ablle to see and speak to jinns, infact he was friends with some of them. I was wondering why some people can see them but others can't, why do they choose to interact with us humans??

say someone died 1000 years before judgement day and another died a day before judgement day (they were both bad) wouldnt the person who died a 1000 years ago receive more punishment in the grave that the person who was only in the grave for a day or so. how would Allah balance out these punishments?

this is quite embarassing especially when you're around a lot of people or in a quiet area..

I actually never thought of this until the other day when i was watching a programme about this. There was one person who claimed to be a prophet in different tribes and many of the people would stupidly follow them even when the Prophet (PBUH) stressed that there will be no more prophets after me. Does anyone know how many people? (i mean just a couple of years after the death of Muhammad (PBUH))

my cousin and her kids came from sweden last night and they're staying at my house. Her kids are sooo loud they're giving me a headache, im literally going mad. its like they're from another world. They finished all the bread and smashed the butter and they even buttered the tea towels. I just wanna strangle them...i dont think i can stand this for another day and they'll be staying for almost a month....what to do any suggestions?

I'm literally fed up with her, she takes all my stuff. plus when my mum buys us something and i choose one thing, she wants the same thing as me. She used to even take my shoes ( now i hate anyone touching my shoes!) but now the good thing is she's gt a bigger size feet than me and that's the only thing stopping her from wearing my shoes. However, she still takes my headscarves, top, cardigans, literally anything of mine that she can get her hands on. ( i wanna strangle her!) how do i make her stop...telling her is not working.

what is the world coming to? humans are so heartless. How can you accuse someone of something without any proof. And these people call themselves muslims, disgusting!

i cant bring myself to revise, im reading something but im not absorbing any information and i just drank two cups of coffee and nothing's helping...any solutions??? (im revising for history by the way) does any1 know an easy way of revising history (the cold war) i've already written 3 essays, i cant do no more *sniff* i feel sooo depressed!
