I noticed this morning my rainbow fish is swimming basically vertically. It won't use its top and bottom fins to swim and looks almost paralyzed, is there anything I can do to help it?

Hi so today I have found bite marks on my dwarf gouramis back tail. While observing him. no other fish messes with him or chases him. I have three red glass barbs, a eclipse catfish, four pearl danios, and two red minor serpea tetras, in a 30 gallon. He was fine until i added the danios and tetras but it seems like they are to small to go after him. Any suggestions on who could be doing it or what I can do? Would metafix help him at all?

I have a 30 gallon tank with 2 kissing gouramis, a Dwarf gourami, along with five small neon tetras. Recently I have found that one of the kissing gouramis has a piece of its back fin missing! No other fish has showed aggresiveness towards it other then the other kissing gouramis. He will chase him until he goes back behind a plant I have in the tank. Is this normal? Should I get rid of the fish?

Alright so I am at a 8 gauge right now, i've had it in for 3 days. However it does not hurt at all, i can move it easily, twist it, take it out and put it in easily. I want to put the 6 in tonight but i'm afraid that's going to fast, but my ears seem fine. what do you think?
