Help Im injured and cant run!! What is the best way to maintain my endurance and leg strength?
I have been training to qualify for the boston marathon for 6 months now. I have injured my knee, not sure exactly what is wrong with it. I am seeing the doc today.
My mileage was up to 40 a week. I wasn't doing any hard running just slow stuff to build my base. It doesn't hurt to use the elliptical at the gym so I have been using that the past couple days.
I was going by the 10% rule and everything. I am 24 and a pretty experienced runner. Ran competitively for 8 years but went on hiatus for 3 years after joining the Navy.
