I hear so many people quoting scripture and stating that Catholics don't use the true literal interpretation of the Bible. I would also then like to point out that it was the Catholic religion that actually put together the Bible in the first place. How can the "publisher" of a group of works be told that it doesn't know or understand it?

My father and I were shopping at our local supermarket when we witnessed "Tom" from down the street buy two grocery baskets full of groceries with foodstamps and then purchase a 50 inch television with cash. The idea that as a taxpaying citizen myself, I had to foot the bill for this outrageous purchase myself is inexplicable. With a little research I have discovered that total benefits from the welfare and unemployment programs paired with government subsidized housing can reach over 40,000 dollars a year. Why should I work my tail off to make a similar sum when I can work the system and sit on my couch?
