I got my friend the smallville season 1-8 dvd boxset but it arrived from Amazon witha slight tear on the lid. In my opinion it doesn't effect the dvd's or the sentiment of the gift. In his opinion I should send it back and buy the same set but slightly more expensive. Would you be angry like I am at my friends blatant ungreatfulness?

The type of ghost I'm talking about is the one that seems to be in a prerecorded act. I believe the theory that water in the atmosphere can trap a recording of it's surroundings and under the right circumstances play it back. What are your theories?

I went to the dentist and had an X-ray on one of my teeth. I thought he was quite barbaric (the only way I can describe it) putting in the lining and also went straight to the prognosis that the either a root canal or a deep filling as there is "decay" under a filling on that tooth. Either one is bad news but what I want to know is can I ask for my X-Ray and get a second opinion?

I know there is no definite answer to this but I want to know from a scientific viewpoint what happens to the human brain and mind when we die. Is it possible that the brain is still working for a while after it has been legally declared dead?
