I have seen an image of a Mac desktop with quick link shortcuts and apps for current clock, weather, movie times, facebook link, e-mail box...etc. I have Windows and my internet browser is Google Chrome. I have an HP Pavillion dv 2000 with Windows XP. I used to have an icon on the task bar that showed me the bars of battery power I have remaining and whether or not it is on av power or running on my battery. I am not sure what happened, but the icon is not there any more. Is there something I can check or change in the settings or control panel to get the icon back? I do not like running the notebook to the end of the battery to the point it turns off on me.
