I have the Halo 3 edition Xbox 360 with one of the original (white) Xbox hard drive in it. I beat MW3's campaign earlier this morning and finally got Xbox Live renewed on my account after 860+ days of being offline. Right after I downloaded an "update" for MW3 the disc became unrecognizable. I tried unplugging everything and letting it rest, cleaning the (brand new) disc and all that good stuff and it still doesn't work. I tried to play my Gears of War 3 while connected to xbox live and it still is recognized so I really don't know what's wrong. Can anyone help?

I live in Southern California and I got caught at Store Name shoplifting by loss prevention. I was handcuffed for what I thought was about two hours. A police officer never came so they let me go. I signed a report written by one of the loss prevention people and was told that I was getting a fine in the mail and probably a misdemeanor. The theft was valued at $13.67. He had a badge around his neck, probably local law enforcement. What do you think is going to happen?

Also I got taken back inside Store Name (a different chain) by a man who didn't identify himself at all. I had walked back inside and walked around a corner and put back what I had (a couple dollar thing of food) and walked back towards the entrance. And this man was practically body blocking me towards the security office. I wasn't handcuffed and he just took my ID info and made me leave. If I get fined do I have to pay? I didn't sign anything and he never identified himself. I am very confused.

It is almost 28 inches long, from tip to the end of the actual blade it is 18 and a half inches. My friend told me as long as its in a sheath and visible and under 30 inches it is legal to carry. I know pulling it out and waving it around will break a penal code or two but is it legal to carry it in the open? It has a leather/mesh sheath and is more of a ninja-esque type of sword.

I want to know what a mall Security Guard can legally do in the state of California. Are they allowed to detain and handcuff someone? I thought they could only kick you off property and/or call the Police. I have done nothing to warrant this unsavory attention, but a couple of my friends were "detained" until the police got there. Also can mall security guards shove people that are getting into a fight on property? How physical are they allowed to get and when?

I need to write a sonnet for a movie for school. The movie is my choice but I don't know which one to pick. Anyone know any movies that are easy to write a sonnet for?

Say I am sitting at the mall talking to some friends around 10 P.M. and a police officer comes up and starts talking to us. I am 18 so I won't be breaking curfew laws, but does he/she have the right to search my backpack even if I say no? I know the whole probable cause stuff comes into effect, but I have nothing on or around me that even looks (or smells) like an illegal substance.

I have just received my certificate allowing me to legally marry people. What do I need to do to marry my two friends? I have no idea. This certificate was from a church that basically ordains everyone so I haven't gone through any training. What kind of paperwork do I need to get and fill out?

I remember dreaming every single night of my life. Sometimes I have been in dreams where they seem to last hours and I am walking around in them with total knowledge that I am in one. I am just recently starting to write them down, but is it normal for someone to remember all of their dreams in its entirety? I sometimes have deja vu and feel very sick to my stomach at times when the situation I am in reminds me exactly of a dream I have had in the past. Of course don't ask me to recite them all because of course after awhile of not thinking about them I forget, but I remember them for weeks after I have them.

If my friend buys colored contacts for a rave and he takes E, would he still be able to see clearly out of the lenses? Because I know your pupils grow larger, and he still thinks he will be able to see perfectly. Wouldn't it cloud the edges of his vision?

I have a relapse of Strep Throat and have been on medication for over 48 hours (supposedly you are not contagious after 24 hours on it), but I was running a fever when I woke up this morning and I was really looking forward to going to a concert tonight. I feel fine except slight throat pain. The pain is ten times less than before I was on the medication, but I heard if you are running a fever you are still contagious, is that true?

I saw it at school the other day, it was primarily black and yellow with a grinning face on its abdomen that looked kind of like this "=D." It isn't one of the four "happy" spiders I looked up and I wondered if anyone knew what it was. It was also very large, its body was as long as my thumb and thicker, and with its legs outstretched it was about the diameter of my hand.
