Was talking to my ex for the first time in a month. And at a happy point in the conversation she said this.

Do you think it's a good sign? Or bad because she ended the convo.

Mini-summary:

Together almost 5 years, we broke up in December 2012 because she wanted to have a drink with a guy she just met 'as friends'.

After some thought I decided to end it, but wanted her back 3 days after, she was in his nets by then...

Of course now and again I can't help but Facebook search her. Bad habit.

I never did anything to bother/hurt her there.

Also she is still apparently friends with my family overseas.

But she still has me blocked on facebook?

Does this mean it upsets her looking at my profile? Or is that far fetched.

So this amazing looking girl starts dancing next to me copying my moves which leads to us eventually dancing together.

We were holding each others hands and slightly later interlocking fingers. At that point I thought it was really great and she seemed to be having fun too!

But then her girlfriend comes over and asks if she wants to come and have a smoke. So she signals me that she's going for a smoke.

I think that was such a shame, because now I don't have her name/her number.

Do any of you know why she did that?

And what would be a tip to keep that from happening in the future?

We kissed a couple of weeks ago during a party. And have been chatting daily.

I have asked her it would be fun if she'd come to the party on wednesday, but she said she didn't feel like it.

Since then she liked my new Facebook profile picture.

So during another whatsapp convo she stops replying (even though she has been online since).

So I said "I'm probably distracting you from your studies. Good luck learning! x".

No reponse.

Hadn't heard from her for two days. And then all of a sudden she texts me DURING the party at 02:00AM

"how's the party?"

I dont know what to think of this, is she trying to string me along?

If she had actually liked me she would have come to the party right?

In fact a friend of hers whom I talked to at the party told me she went to the movies instead of the party that night.

I haven't replied yet.

This girl I am talking to in whatsapp suddenly ends conversations with a kiss.

Does this mean she likes me? Or should I not read too much into it.

So I keep sending this girl messages now and then. And what I notice is that she quite often doesn't respond immediately even though she is online (probably responding to others).

So therefore I think she isn't really interested in replying fast. Thus she probably isn't interested.

Why doesn't she reply immediately if she is online?

Two weeks ago we spent almost the entire weekend flirting with each other during a 2 day event. And kissed on the last evening. And took a train back together.

Since then we've flirted via whatsapp and in real life. I asked her out on a date once. But she had good reasons to not be there.

And a second time, which she sorta rejected (we said lets go next week, didn't pick a date).

She acts hot and cold. In my presence she told her girlfriend that she's on Tinder, but that she won't message this other guy anymore.

I sorta gave up on her from that point, but then she started flirting via whatsapp again.

I thought all women would only kiss someone if they are really into them.

Why is she acting so hot and cold?

I said: well doesn't matter, I'll notice when you want to then.

To which she said: Yesss. Do you have to study a lot this weekend?

After that we continued to talk for an hour, she asked me lots of questions.

Apparently it's her mum's birthday which she isn't going to miss for a 3rd time in a row.

So it sounds plausible.

Do you think she rejected the offer to go out because she doesn't want to? Or because she's really busy?

Ladies please advise.

In class we had an exercise where 3 girls had to try and convince me to get up out of my seat.

Two of those girls are really loud and the third one is shy.

So of course the two loud ones were talking the most.

But when the shy girl asked me something she started to blush and have a tense/awkward expression on her face. Sort of like someone being embarassed.

Of course I tried to ignore it and keep a straight face so that she'd hopefully feel more comfortable.

Any idea on why she blushed and felt tense when she started talking to me?

I was sitting to the left of her and slightly leaned back.

When I was looking at a person talking to the right of her I noticed she was looking at me from the corner of her eye.

What does this mean? Or doesn't it mean a thing?

This girl was clearly flirting with me.

So I asked her -via fb chat- if she and her friends wanted to hang out with me and my friends.

She answered:

That's a really great idea, but I have to go to uni until 1800...

So I said a bit later:

Oh ok. What a shame, I'm here with someone else now :P

She read it but hasn't replied. SO I am assuming I blew it :(

Is there any way I can still save this and go out with her?

And what did she mean with her reply?

What are your experiences with ex boy/girlfriends, do they ever stop acting awkard around you?

And why would you? Or why would you not?

My mum ran into my ex, and my ex turned around and walked off very fast. So was wondering

why people do that kind of thing.

Maybe because it's awkard? But why would it be if has been a long time.

It seems as if she doesn't like my close family for no apparent reason. But stil finds the other half of my family (who live in another country) cool.

I just don't see the reason why she'd do that. It makes me get the feeling that we've done her wrong or something.

I accept the fact that she ignores me, but why involve only PART of my family. It makes no sense.

She blocked me a longgg time ago, along with my brother and my mother (for god knows what reason).

Why hasn't she gone through the effort to remove the rest of my family?!

After the breakup she was the one that stopped talking to me and started ignoring me, so I gave up.

We bumped into each other and I didn't notice her until she said I could talk to her. I said 'no thank you'.

I believe she was hurt by that because she quickly walked off, so I apologized two days later.

Two weeks later I decide to try and talk to her and she says "seriously GO away".

Why did she say "I could talk to her" in the first place if she doesn't want to?

I had to dump her because it was obvious she liked this guy. She started dating this same guy 5 days after the breakup. And was talking to him the day after our breakup.

But all of this has given me the feeling that my ex is mad at ME. Even though she's the one who didn't want to atleast try to work things out.

Can anyone make sense of this?

I have technically speaking moved on. But this situation is just so strange that I keep thinking about it.

So my ex of over a year stil has me and some of my family members blocked.

Yet she has other family members still listed as friends.

The people who she has blocked have not bothered her at all. Yet she keeps them blocked.

Can anyone think of any reasons why? Does she hold a grudge? Is it painfull? Has she moved on?
