We have tried everything ( changing the settings etc. ), but still this desktop does not allow Yahoo and some other sites to load. My other computers in my home can all access these sites easily. My son thinks that this is because this computer is connected directly to the router ( which has a double fire-wall ), and thinks that getting it to access the Internet through a wi-fi card should do the trick. I told him that I will pose this question in Yahoo Answers first before I decide to spend money on a new wi-fi card. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.
