There is a natural order to things. Its called a food chain. I have no tolerance for cruelty to animals, but giving animals more rights than humans is beyond stupid. Why do they take an important issue and blow it out of proportion? This cannot be helping their causes.

I seem to be able to remember what I was doing before I headed to the coffee maker...and I am only human...geez ...you would think a computer would be able to handle this and while we are on that subject, since when does a computer drink coffee?

When will we ever be given candidates that on some realm be considered "quality"? Has the quality of politicians in general erroded away so much that we will always have to pick the lesser of in all the evil choices given?

We have the immoral character of an imaginary black Clinton versus a real black person who is morally upstanding....hmmm. Which would you vote for?

A international corporation based out of Minnesota has made it a priority to cut two major areas of their corporation down to the bare bones...one is quality (who gives a darn about complaints from the customers) and IT, (service who needs service? Let them start using typewriters again.) All the while the CEO complains he is now down to 1 vacation home. Hmmm. Does anyone else see something wrong with this picture?

I should know the answer to this, but unfortunately I do not...so I am relying on you for an answer. My brother and I are throwing a 50th Anniversary party for my parents next year. My brother's in-laws are in failing health and live several states away, so it would not be possible to invite them. However my -in-laws live in the same town with my parents. Should we invite my mother and father-in-law? What is proper on this? It is a "no gift" party, just cake, food and time to chat with family and friends.

Why do you feel you have the right to gain anything from this country if you hate it so much? That makes you a hypocrite.

And how does the Catholic church feel about those versus where Jesus talks about those who wear robes, making prayer a form and boastful speeches as they are full of pride and dead man's bones? So what about the Pope...he wears robes, makes prayer a form and makes boastful speeches about "his" church being the only right way to serve God. Where is the humility in that?

what methods or products do you recommend. My mother was not real good about promoting good skin care. So I didn't take as good care of my face as I should, now there are big pores to deal with. I don't want that for my kids. I have a girl, 7 and a boy 6. When and what should be done.

Mark 6:7-11, Matthew 10:9-15, Luke 9:3-6...all basically saying the same. Jesus sent them out two by two, taking nothing, not having a home of their own, not getting a salary, etc.

There is a faith today that does exactly this and has since the day Jesus taught it.

So why place your faith into a church that does not do what Jesus taught?

When someone asks me what my religion is...I hesitate...why? Because of those who claim to be Christians and yet they do some of the most immoral, hateful things known in mankind. Big churches, money, pride, money, pride, and all the while calling themselves Christians. The thought of actually being humble, caring, considerate of their fellow man is obsolete. Racism was created by some of the same people who wanted freedom of religion. That is too sad. Maybe those who really live and believe as Jesus taught should be labeled something else besides Christians. Any clues?

What expressions from your part of the country would be confusing to a foreigner? For ex: Let's go Down town. Hang a left. Stop fooling around. An old Scottish expression (The phone went.) A real Texan expression (Y'all fixin to fry the beans?) Glad I'm not a translator. HA!
