FEMA gives insurance to home owners to build homes in areas that are SO DANGEROUS that not even insurance companies will provides policies. Why should the American Tax Payer have to pay for "high risk insurance policy" for silly people so they can live on a beach or next to a river. Use common sense, its called a flood plain. Probably not a good place for anything that does not do well in a flood.

In our current system, when a flood does occur, like just recently on the Mississippi, a decision has to be made to drown farmers or a town. Which the cost falls on the tax payers. It is the same principle of the bailout. How many little cuts like that does it take until we are bleeding out as a Nation?

As free people under Mr. Paul's Platform people are allowed if they wish to build i these places, but must simply not rely on the Federal Tax payers to produce the costs to recover damages.

Also, that does not preclude states, or private charities from providing the adequate funding.

And FEMA support does not directly equate to No Disaster Relief for truly unpredicted events.

Please, let’s bring America's Troops home. They deserve it. We could have fought 2 WWII in this time.

Leave the Middle East, and all other Nations that are agreed to be sovereign, ALONE with regard to DOMESTIC AFFAIRS.

Strengthened dollar means increase in literal productivity do to the attractiveness of having “trust redeemable at any bank in the USA.” An increase in purchasing power due to a re-regulation of gold to back our paper dollar, would cancel inflation almost immediately.

Lower fuel prices, lower food prices, lower retail prices + strengthen dollar = more spending power per dollar!

That “more spending power” goes right back into the economy!
