  • Possible torn ACL?

So, about a week ago, I think I tore my acl muscle in my knee. I heard a loud pop and fell to the ground and was unable to get up or use my leg at all. I went to the hospital, nothing showed up on xray and was sent home with crutches. Now, a week later, I'm able to walk almost normally but I still can't bend my knee more than a few degrees. Not that I don't want to, or because it hurts too much, but because I can't. At all. I have all intentions of seeing an Ortho Dr, but I have yet to be able to schedule an appointment. I want to hear from other people that have experienced this or have some knowledge about it. Is it normal with an acl tear to not be able to bend my knee? Should this be a concern?

  • Husband is trying to leave the Army?

My husband left for Basic Training on March 18, was still in processing when he decided that it's not for him. He really really wants out. He went temporarily awol, and they did nothing about it. He went back and they pretty much ignored the fact that he left. I've heard that he has the right to quit because he hasn't been in very long, but they're refusing to let him quit. His DS told him that he was either going to have to go awol again, or ship to basic, that's it. I just got a phone call from him, they busted him for having his cell phone on him and are trying to take it from him. He's refusing to hand it over. Are they able to forcefully take it from him? Can they do anything to him for refusing to work and/or train? He just wants to go home, and we're running out of ideas.

  • How early can I have a c-section?

I'm wondering what it will take to convince my Dr to let me have my c-section earlier than 39 weeks? I'm hoping for 37-38 weeks. I mean, I have 3 different infections, have to be tested for pre eclampsia again and have ketones in my pee which I guess is a bad thing. Plus I'm having trouble with my hips, having really bad pain if I lay down for too long like at bedtime or whatever. They make a weird clicking/popping noise when I walk...it's just getting to be too much. I could barely walk last night, and I've been really sick this morning. What do you guys think?

  • My daughter refuses to nap?

My daughter is one month shy of a year and a half old, and I finally got her into her toddler bed. Well, now she refuses to take a nap. She used to go down really easily and go straight to sleep, but now she just stays up and plays in her room until I go to get her. How can I get her to take a nap again?

  • Husband thinks I'm crazy jealous?

Ok, so my husband has started a new job a few months ago, and he's made friends with a female coworker. This doesn't really bother me, but my husband and I are having a really rough time right now, and we fight alot. He's telling her all of our problems, and he txts her alot. The problem I have with the txting if he NEVER txts me. He says he doesn't want to talk to people from home while hes at work, but he'll talk to people at work when hes at home?? We were talking and she sends him a txt and he saus "well I better acknowledge that she txtd me," and I casually mention that he never acknowledges me txts at all, and hes gets mad and we argue about it. I could really use some advice on this...

  • Suddenly whiney and clingy toddler?

My daughter is 16 months old, and she has always been fairly independent. She doesn't like to be held very much, and is usually happy to go off and play with her cousin in another room. Within the last week, she has just learned how to walk, and since then she wants held. Constantly. As soon as she sees me, she walks over to me and then she'll hold onto my legs and cry until I pick her up. If I don't pick her up, she throws a temper tantrum, and if I do, she throws one whenever I put her down. I'm 10 weeks pregnant, and I'm really not supposed to carry her around (she weighs 30+ lbs) but how can I not when she wants to be held so much? She's also extremely whiney now as well. Is this something every child her age goes through? And what can I do to help her?

  • Have you used Instead Softcup?

I apologize ahead of time for the TMI. Ok, so I recently began using Instead Softcup in place of tampons or pads. Well, when I first starting using them, I was able to push it almost all the way back and get it in the correct place. Lately I've noticed when using them that I'm unable to push it back as far, and I'm curious to know why that could be. Help?

  • My daughter doesn't want to sit up?

My baby girl is 7 months old, she can roll over both ways, she tries to crawl and can sit without support for up to a minute. But sometimes, she just doesn't want to sit. If I try to put her in a sitting position, she stiffens up her legs so that she lays back instead of sitting. Is this normal? She does this more often than not, and I'm worried about her development Help?

  • Embarrassing...question about the female orgasm?

OK, so my boyfriend was performing oral sex on me, and everything felt great, normal. But then I felt like I was going to orgasm, it just...didn't happen. A few seconds later, everything felt really sensitive like it HAD happened, and maybe it did, but where did the "big bang" go?

  • Do you believe in soul mates?

Does anyone believe in soul mates? I kinda do, but I'm unsure. Like what if there is a soul mate out there for everyone, but that doesn't mean that's the person you have to be with? Maybe it just means that that's the person you can connect the most easily with, and they're always going to be around, no matter what position they hold in your life. They could be a friend, guardian, lover, etc. Someone else want to give their opinion?

  • Early pregnancy symptoms?

I just had my daughter a month ago. My husband and I had unprotected sex once, and used Plan B. Plus he pulled out a time or two after that. I've been getting sick to my stomach lately, not badly sick, just enough to be noticeable. I've been really hungry, and it seems like nothing can satisfy me. I'm also a tad emotional, crying over silly things. I know, I should know the signs of pregnancy since I just had a baby, but I had almost no symptoms at all with my previous pregnancy. So, I'm wondering if I can be pregnant again so soon? And if I take a pregnancy test, will I get a false positive because of lingering hormones from my daughter (not sure if there are any) or will it be the real deal?

  • Is birth control effective right after pregnancy?

My husband and I did not wait the advised six weeks to have sex after having my daughter. In fact, we waited a week, and I took Plan B afterward. It's been a few weeks now, and I've been getting sick to my stuff occasionally for the last few days. At first I thought I might have a stomach virus, but now I think I may be pregnant.
