Can I get files back from a formatted drive?
I have an external hard drive (WD 500mb) on which I put a lot of files to transfer over between two computers. I deleted them from their original place on my laptop, but when I tried to copy them onto my PC they obviously did not all copy. The file was there, but when I later looked into it there was only one folder in it. Made the mistake of not checking first.
I then formatted my external drive, twice, because I was trying to figure out what would be the best type to share between a mac and a PC.
Is there any way I can get the information back from my external hard drive, now? There were some important files on there.
