I am a registered sex offender because I downloaded porn. I live with my girlfriend and she has kids. It is legal for me to stay there as long as she does not leave me alone with the kids. When the cop came and verified the address he decided to be a dick and report it to DCFS. The opened an investigation simply because I am a sex offender. We live on a farm in the middle of nowhere. I am the only one with a car there and I commute to the university where I attend school. The case worker forced me to leave the house with below zero degree weather and I have no where to go. I am in a location for school so I have no friends or family. The homeless shelters wont even take me because I am a sex offender.

My point is can they remove me from the house on the simple fact that I am a sex offender even though there aren't even any allegations and I haven't broken any laws? She is asking for treatment classes or an evaluation neither which I am nor am required (by law) to have. They are very expensive to obtain. I feel as if my rights have been violated. I am homeless and college is hard enough without trying to do it while homeless in below zero weather.

I have friend who has been renting an duplex for least 9 years. It has the same carpet that was in the place originally. My issue is that there is carpet in the kitchen which is totally stupid and I want it out. Is there a way to make to make the landlord remove it. I'm sure it was here years before he moved in. Wasn't carpet in the kitchen a 70's thing?

I had a tile job done in my kitchen and the installer did a crappy job. The tiles were suppose to sit flush to each other but there were bad gaps in some areas. He came to fix it put only positioned to tiles so the gap was distributed between two sides of the tile.What can I use to fill the gaps so there are not noticeable.
