Okay, so I'm 14, and I'm very interested in the market. I understand a lot of things, but I recognize that I don't know everything of course. Anyways, I was pretty proud of myself when I bought J.C Penny and Best Buy today, and they shot up! Then I realized there was something I didn't quite get. On CNBC, on the stock ticker on the bottom of the screen, it will say something like "CHD 61.00 (Insert Green Arrow pointing up here.) 0.21

What does that 0.21 mean? I know it means the price is up, but from what? That's what's confusing me. From the open price? Thanks.

I'm looking for a large block of rubber (preferably white) that I can cut to a shape that I want. I don't want it to be flimsy though, as I want it to withstand a fair deal of pressure. However, I don't want it to be too hard, to the extent that it is extremely hard to cut through. Oh, and it has to be big enough, at least 4x4x4. Thanks guys!
