My daughter is wanting to do so, and I'm scared to see how it turns out.

This involved a 13 year old students "my space" and accusations of sexual content. Also principal not only contacted parent, but other non household "emergency contacts".

According to some beliefs it all started with Adam and Eve. How come we have so many different races now? Asian, whites, mediterainian, blacks... All these races adaptd/evolved acording to their enviroment. So how, come evolution is not considered fact? How does Neanderthal fit into this picture?

This last weekend I went through some of my daughters schoolpaper and I guess in one subject she was learning about different religions. One of the things was a piechart. I was very surprised to see non-religion as 13%. When I grew up I didn't knew any Atheist/ Agnostics etc. But now I hear a lot of agnostic views from Christians. I think this number could be even higher than she (my daughter) is taught.

Oh, this just happened a few hours ago. My daughter 15 went with her boyfriend 16 and a friend to a party today. She said she would be back home at 1230 which was ok with both parents. At 12:00 I received a call from the police and after some confusion with names was asked, if I knew where she was, with who, how she would get back home etc. I had to ask several times what that was about and was told to hold on and asked the next question and finally was told they where stopped by the police. After not being able to reach my daughter (she forgot her cellphone) I called her boyfriend and understand while waiting with friends on the curb for their rides the police stopped and asked them questions. They decided to call parents and not even bother knocking at the door to ask parents in there. After the Mom came out they told her a noise complaint had come in, which they never told the kids or me. They didn't even told me where they stopped those kids. I understand that same police officer harrased my daughter and her friend before while waiting in front of the movie theater for me to pick them up.more....

OK, I just have to ask this. I repeatedly read that Atheist are scared. So question 1 How do you know I'm scared ? You don't know me! I'm Mrs or Ms or even Mr X in X state. So whatever I say here has little chance of backfiring on me, therefore 2 Why would I be scared? 3 What would I be scared of? You? Your god? Your hell? I don't believe in it, therefore I don't have to worry about it. Now the dentist is a different story :o) And I like the Dude. Scared of dying? Oh yes I am. I want to see my kids grow up and live life as long as possible. So anyone out there saying they are not afraid of loosing live is either lying, suicidal or an adrenalin junky. I meet a terminal ill woman once that wasn't scared of death. She said she lived her live well. No preaching about god, I don't even Know if she believed. So That's my purpose in live, get where she was at I've never seen peace like that. So, some of you Christians out there please stop thinking for me, or feeling sorry for me.

When I grew up in Germany, we had a custom on the first of May. At night we had to make sure trash cans and any moveable stuff left outside was put away, otherwise you would look all over town for it the next morning. I remember our gate being on a neighbors garage roof once :o). I know now this is also Beltaine and yes we had a may pole in town. Any connection??? I also would like to know if it is still practiced. There never seemed to be any bad feelings about it.

Why won't christans admit to their pagan part of their religious practice. They happily put up cristmastree's and hide eastereggs. Have a trinity, a goddess figure (Mary) they pray too. Jeeeez, even fairies (Angels; the bible sure doesn't describe 'em the way they pictured them). Is it just me or does the last supper remind you of; I think; a Norse tale??? So why do they quote the bible every time they hear about a proclaimed witch. I can't say I'm pagan, but there is no way I can belive in the bible, to educated for that. What makes them think their one of the 199thousand (I think) to go to heaven????
