Is 4 teaspoons of citric acid safe for a front loader washing machine at 90 deg?
Did the 90 deg washing cycle on Asko for cleaning and put in 20g or 4 teaspoons of citric acid.
Machine looks nice and clean but a couple of times I heard a squeak as it turned ot the left which went away with water and after the spin...
So is citric acid and 90 deg wrecking the bearings or seals (Asko has no seal to go mouldy between the drum-- bellows or whatever it is called)
1 AntwortCleaning & Laundryvor 2 JahrenLaptop battery capacity Toshiba new battery versus old.?
Hi,
My Toshiba Satellite Pro c50b says the battery is
14.8v 45whr 2800mAh
Replacement for some reason (they say it is from Toshiba) says
14.8v 32 whr 2085 mAh
The other one got 5 hrs on the battery will this be significantly less. The computer shop on the phone thinks only 30mins or so less and not a big difference.

I eat them every day , at least 1 . I brush about 1 hr or more later.
I heard the citric acid in them is really bad for the teeth.
I thought a soda eg Coke would be heaps worse.
I mean, can you get a ton of holes in teeth from eating oranges ?
1 AntwortDentalvor 5 JahrenDo my teeth look as crooked and as bad as I think to the average stranger ?
29 just one small filling at the back . When I was a kid I was told I need braces but now as an adult I told it was optional and more aesthetic.
My front tooth is slightly chipped at the bottom and not straight.
How do my teeth look when u see them ? Good or bad ? They look better I think when teeth are down then open ?
I had not been to a dentist for 14 years (now 29 years old ) . Just got a clean and a small filling.
I always brush every day with an electric toothbrush, although till recently did not floss all the time.

Why are plastics used in some fridges so thin these days. Is it a cost saving thing, or, is it more to do with sustainability and using less resources to make the plastics

When I slow down in a manual transmission I go down the gears and then brake and then towards the end put the clutch down.
However, when reversing I saw a video when they stopped reversing, they put the clutch right down and then braked ?
If car is moving really slowly do you put te clutch down then brake to stop it stalling ?

4 AntwortenTVsvor 7 JahrenWill remote control of a specified tv set top box work for another ?
Ok So I our digital set top box has a remote which is dying.
I went on the manufacturers spare parts site and they only have a slightly different set top box model
I am 3103hdrc this one is 3105hdrc but it seems to use the exact same remote control as the slightly older version of that set top box
So should this mean the Grundig 3105 remote will work on my 3103 box ?
I think the box was a slight change from the older one in shape .

Hi
Just wondering, I have an old HP printer bought in 2006 and I can still use remanufactured/generic cartridges with no issues at all.
Have the companies now changed their newer printers as to not accept generic cartridges ? I am curious ?
Or is it still possible. Any opinions appreciated.
I buy a HP 21XL online it costs $14 , works ok can't see the difference. In fact I reckon I may even get more printing out of the generic.
Thanks.

We have an Electrolux Dishlex dishwasher bought in Australia in 2007 and after 7 years the PCB (not sure what this is) apparently needs to be replaced as the water no longer heats. The electrician said the element works fine etc.
So is Electrolux Dishlex a cheaper brand compared to Bosch dishwashers ?
1 AntwortOther - Electronicsvor 7 JahrenLG fridges as good as they used to be ?
We have an LG Fridge from the year 2000 . It is still going as good as new. This was bought in Australia for something like $1700 back then for a 500 and something litre one.Think they are $1000 or less now.
Is LG still making them like this if we were to replace it for energy efficiency reasons ? I think this one was made in Korea only the light has gone and been replaced !
Can fridges bought in 2010- now still last at least 10 years to 15 years ? Most products I have bought that are LG have lasted ages without any issues at all, televisions, mobile phone dvd player etc.
