People are giving up on yahoo chat because of all the bots and problems yahoo always has. There is an exodus taking place as a result. Many have and are now using "PalTalk".

So what are your thoughts? Are you frustrated like thousands upon thousands of others are with Yahoo and their chatrooms problems. Is it easy for you to even get in a chatroom much less enjoy Yahoo?

Do they not know that yahoo is involved in the porno business? All the porno spam bots that make up 75% of nicks in Yahoo chatrooms. And underage children are seeing all of it. Perhaps these companies need to be told. What do you think? Is it proper for a company like Gerber Foods to adverstise with Yahoo when Yahoo supports and engages in pornography?

Over the past few days, I have been experiencing a longer time period before the a chatroom window opens. Yahoo, Y!mlite, and Yazak all load fast - and the room menus come up quickly as well .... however, after clicking on any room in the menu ... there is a much longer wait. What once was a mere second or two is now as much as a full minute.

Have run 3 malware/spyware programs (clean) ... scan disk and defrag (ok) ... anti virus updated and scanned (clean) ... cleaned and defraged the registry .... dumped temp files and defraged memory, too ....... BUT still their is a longer delay.

Thoughts - opinions - ideas - solutions - are all appreciated.

Emotions: Was in a chatroom and another user in room has a program that causes a ROFLMAO smiley to move across the width of the room from left to right. I asked where he got it but he would not say.

Anyone know where the download is for this program?

Anyone else having the same issues this morning on the eastern coast of the US? Messenger loads but no chatrooms come up nor on any third chat cliet programs either.
