27yr old Bayliner 26' custom cruiser needs a full makeover treatment top to keel and for to aft .Cruiser has been parked in yard for years (needs a bug bomb job too not joking )

Have replaced Idle Air Control but idle bumps from normal up to 3,000 rpm only at standing .It will brake torque itself up to 1,500 when you come to a red light .If you put it in Neutral it will idle or rev to 1,500 I am thinking Throttle Position Sensor codes dont realy get specific it all boiles down to emission control results . I appreciate all input here friends.

Description :Chevy 5.0 L / 305 engine [STRANGEST THING EVER] Start the car it idles sloppy for about 10 seconds ,check engine light comes on and stays on while running,it smooths out but has a very light but tell able miss . Put car in reverse and in 5 seconds it stalls. Start it back up wait for the check engine light it smooths back out ,continue in reverse it stalls or drop it in drive it usually stalls again.While running it has half the acceleration a normal running car has, Stop at a light and sit a while it will load up and stall on occasion. Car has very-very poor fuel mileage 10 or less (mpg).It has had a new tune up including new fuel and air filters .

I had it code checked it says it's something to do with the map sensor ,I installed a new one absolutely no change plugged or unplugged .It's something else but damned if I can find it .

I need some expertise with this kind of problem ,I have never encountered this before .Could it be a vacuum leak or a starting to plug catalytic converter .I have checked the fuel pressure and the Throttle Body Injectors all is fine with that part of the system and I have no intake or TBI leaks and timing is correct also.

I need a chevy expert for this car it's my Girlfriends ride friends and I would appreciate some assistance greatly .

I am smart, but I am not CHEVROLET SMART ,Someone has to have the secret GOLDEN ANSWER out there .This car is in pretty good shape for 20yrs old everything works short of the present troubles occuring with it.

I have had good ones with FORDS,MERCURY'S,BUICKS,OLDS,DODGE & CHRYSLER,AND A COUPLE OF CHEVY'S .But nothing as wierd as this have I came across. signed :BAFFLED IN BROWNSTOWN,MI.

I ran the cable to the modem and from the modem I ran Ethernet to a LINKSYS 5port workgroup switch [model # EZXS55W] .Then ran ethernet from the switch to both computers independently on the primary I ran it to a [Lan Card added to a PCI slot] this unit works perfectly. The 2nd unit is connected to an Ethernet on the Motherboard this unit will not link up .Do I need to install a Lan card ,I thought all Ethernet plugs worked for all data transfer ? what am I doing wrong here ? I am on-line with the primary unit right now with the modem and switch in line . I need some help here friends ,I can fix most anything else but when it comes to a computer I am like lost ! without true guidance.

codes are :0x00000024,0x00190203,0x86FD00F8,0xC0000102,0x00000000 .First off no hardware or software was changed or modified by user .Tried F8 It will not go back to it's Last Known Good Configuration . Have tried using a boot disc set .

System was purchased without O/S cd's through [rent-a-center] by my friend about 2yrs ago it was bought used .

comes back to Blue Screen Of Death with the error codes.no matter what I have tried so far.

I don't know how old the battery in the mother board is[I will replace that ] if that has no effect ,I was thinking of trying to see if it would accept a windows xp upgrade disc ?.

Or would it be better to just pull the hard drive and replace with a new one [havn't gotten into it that far but it is all factory parts have never been modified it has a 40gig HDD though]?

A person said I am ignorant to reality I just put it out there because no one has before [ I CLAIM MY RITE TO FREEDOM OF SPEECH ].I did know that I would offend some,but look at all of your answers.We are so locked into the grip of big oil it is outrageous .Through others(wall street and the like) we pay through the nose.Cheap fuel is not a birth rite [ FACT ] but for the billions in profit ; where are new or old refineries being built or updated ?, why are hybrid cars coming out now and costing a high price tag ? ,are oil companies insured against damages from the elements and man made accidental damage? ,why is it we can not supply ourselves with more of our own oil ?. We have environmental impact issues as to why we do not drill in ALASKA and other locations ( EXXON VALDESE disaster is a reminder )

We are the consumer we have a voice the oil companies are raping us in the price of fuel world wide [if we do not buy they do not profit] .I say we do not buy from say any MOBIL or EXXON affiliated stations for the next 6 months world wide.then move on to the next smaller company ,and the next and so on . I think it is the only way to send a message to these corporations we wont take this laying down anymore !!!!!!!!

There is strength in numbers but it has to happen word wide not just in one place but everywhere .They are billion dollar companies and for them to listen we have to hit their profit margin . If they lose money on a grand scale fuel costs will fall over time (not overnight) they profit from us,we got them to where they are we buy their products they survive because of us as a whole. What say you for the benefit of all and not just the one .We the people can stand and be a reconning force.

It was re-printed through random house and testament books in 1979.The books original printing is stated in the book to have back in 1820 from the william hones collection of works by himself(1780-1842),jeremiah jones(1693-1724),and william wake[arch bishop]of canterbury(1657-1737).I find it interesting to read ,considering the davinci code and all anyone else have thoughts ?

It is written in a book that we were set up by our government ,to have our battle ships sitting in PEARL HARBOR for the attack to take place.We were up to that point not deep into the war,but we were helping england.Were we bombed on that day as a set up to have an excuse to go to war with JAPAN ? .With a war going on overseas we should have had these ships on meneuvers (with their battle groups running drills)protecting ourselves.

I do not remember the authors name but the book was based on MICHIGAN history & culture of times gone by.the printing I read,was about 25-30yrs ago. I would like to find one somewhere any ideas fellow readers ?

If you have 3 shot glasses 2 with water in them and one empty with two toothpicks and a cofee straw how do you get the water from the top glass to the bottom glass without physicaly moving a glass once this is set up ?

If a person has a clear vent pipe with no obstruction and nothing backing up in the tub,sinks,toilet,and laundry drain .What would cause the kitchen sink to make a gurgaling sound whenever anyone flushes the comode ?.The sewer line from house to the street has also been checked out too. Got any ideas to my strangely (embarrassing when company is over ) problems .It only hapens when the comode is flushed ????
