I can start Fitzpatrick and Johnson (coming off a huge game) against the Steelers or Freeman and Williams against Baltimore (fighting for playoff contention). They look like mirror images of each other- both hot-streak tandems up against dominant defenses. So, which do I start? Why?

I am thinking of installing Ubuntu on my new drive and I want to be sure that I'll be able to access the same photo, document, and music files on my hard disk that I do when using Vista. I've heard of many people partitioning their drives to run Ubuntu and I wonder if I have to keep files separate.

My bar ends eat up a few centimeters each on the ends of my handlebars and I wonder if anyone has seen a make of bar ends that goes into the end instead of around the tube so that it wouldn't take up any space on the handle bars.

I have a big ring with 44 teeth and I feel like the bike is a little slow- I'm often pedaling in the biggest ring and never in the smallest. How much will I feel the difference if I replace it with a chainset that has a 48 tooth ring? Do I have to change the rear, too?

I have been looking at two used Cannondale Caffeine bikes for over three weeks in order to buy myself a Christmas present. I’d buy either one, but because there are two, I can’t decide and pull the trigger. Both are in good condition with a Caffeine frame. It comes down to Juicy vs. Hope, Lefty vs. Fatty, and 100 bucks. Which would you choose and why?

Here are the specs of first bike/second bike

Frame: Caffeine F1/Caffeine F3

Breaks: Juicy 5/Hope Mini

Shock: Lefty Speed/Fatty

Tires: Hutchinson Pirhana/Mavic Crossfire

Gears: XT/XT

Shifters: XT/LX

The F1 costs 100 bucks more but has the following extras: Pedals, Computer, Air Pump

I've ridden them both- in a parking lot they feel the same (and for the most part, they are). I’m a grown man incapable of making up his mind and I’m ready to ride.

I've read a lot of negative reviews on mtbr.com about the noise and bleeding, but I also see them being used on the trails and some of the most popular bikes. I'm looking at a Cannondale with Juicy 5 and it's the only reason I'm second guessing the purchase. Anyone have personal experience?

I'm shopping around for a used bike and I'm finding Cannondale frame names to be very confusing. I see F1,F2,F3 etc. as well as F1000, F800. I see F1 with Caffeine technology as well as Taurine. Even a thorough visit to the Cannondale website wasn't very helpful (and I read it all) because most of it is just exciting marketing and not a clear description of how one line differs from the other. Can someone give me a quick heirarchy and idea of how the F/Caffeine/Taurine/Scalpel families differ? Thanks

I seem to have a corral of maybe/maybe not type players. Right now I have Maroney in there but I’m worried that New England won’t run much against the dolphins and that Bradshaw is going to get less work (particularly at the goal line) now that they know he has a foot problem. Start a rookie WR instead? Lots of hit or miss here, what would you do?

I have Jennings in there right now, but I've lost all confidence in him as a playmaker (7 points was his "breakout" score last week). Avery would just be filler and he's playing the Lions.

Both big runners- Green is temping but unproven, Bell had a mediocre 8pt game last week. What do you think?

Flex Tashard Choice, Mike Bell, or LT? Once upon a time this question would be blasphemy, but LT hasn’t done much and every time Choice or Bell enter a game they seem to light it up.

Manningham in AZ, Garcon in St.L, or Jennings in Cleveland?

I have to pick two of the three- the matchups are all great. Jennings hasn’t been doing squat but it’s hard to bench him. All are good, none are a sure thing.

I'm comissioner of our league and I'm wondering what waiver setting other people are using if you like it (and why/why not). We had no waiver up 'till now so every unowned player was a free agent, even during the games, but it ended up with those willing to stay up late getting the best players. I've switched it to start of game-Tuesday to give everyone a chance to log on. What do you think?

I drafted Tomlinson (fool that I was) and just picked up Sproles while he's on a bye, but I'm afraid trrying to decide who to start will become more trouble than it's worth. I couldn't get anything for Tomlinson in a trade and he seems to take up roster space. What would you do?

I'm saying seven weeks, but I'm not sure who they'd replace him with so he could go a full season. Of course, if he wins he'll keep the job (I don't see that happening). So, before the first game is played, what do you think is his shelf life?

In my league’s draft, Drew Brees, Payton Manning, and Tom Brady were all gone in the first, Aaron Rodgers, Kurt Warner, Phillip Rivers all went in the second. I’m annoyed with hearing the “fantasy experts” say a person should wait around until the 5th round to draft a QB- it’s a theory that only holds true if everyone agrees to follow it. Plus, QBs score better than RBs! (Seven of last year’s top 10 fantasy point leaders were QBs.) You know who went in our fifth round? Chad Pennington and Ben Roethlisberger. Glad I didn't wait.

So… how early did your top tier QBs go off of the board?

The knee-jerk reaction is Bush, but QBs are always higher scoring, and although not glamerous, Pennington is consistant which Bush hasn't been.
