I've been on a Banana Bread kick lately and have been working on my recipe to make the best Banana Bread I can. My question is what else can I add to Banana Bread it make it even better, I already add raisins and Walnuts.

Why is it that the Religious Right can't see that Marriage is more than simply a religious sacrament, but it is also a legal contract. And based upon that it is the government which should determine and have a say in what is or is not legal. Churches and religion should stay out of it. If they don't want to have same-sex marriages in their religion then that is up to them, there they can do whatever they want. But I for one do not want a religious group with it's own agenda to be setting law.

SO why do religions feel it is their right to try to set Law the way they want? How would they feel if laws were passed saying what they can or can't do in their religion?

Can someone explain if there is any reason why Gays and Lesbians should not be able to adopt or foster children?

We do not have enough homes for the children without being exclusive of people who just want to be parents.

And please have to your arguement then 'It's just wrong!' Also if you want to say that every child should have a Mother AND a Father, then shouldn't we remove children from households with just 1 parent?

So. please explain how being adopted/fostered by a loving Gay or lesbian couple is worse than staying in the system?

I've never had them before, but I've promised myself that I will continue to try new foods whenever I have a chance, so it's Fiddlehead fern time!!

Does anyone have a recipe they would recommend? It needs to be vegetarian freindly as the other person eating them is vegetarian!

I mean a freind of mine when to her church to get her child baptized and the church said they couldn't do it because the couple wasn't married in a church, they were only married in a courthouse. Which makes it seem that 'Marriage' can be simply a legal thing. THen why do the religious people feel that they need to try to restrict it to fit into their religious belief system? (Meaning no marriage for Gay people) Thus denying many legal rights to the gay couples?

I can fully understand a religious viewpoint being that they couldn't get married in the church, but why should they care what is legal or not?

I'd love to have someone come and decorate one of the rooms of my house. (My living/Dining room is what needs attnetion.) The problem is it has Cathedral ceilings which then open up onto a loft area, so it all has to tie together and I've got no clue, co I want David Bromsted of Color Splash to come and help out!! Hello all, I was wondering if anyone wanted to share their favorite Vegan Dessert recipes. I trying to start a business making desserts for Vegetarian / Vegan restaurants and am looking for recipes which are tasty and look good too.

P.S. - Also I tried a Vegan Carrot cake and while it was fairly moist, it wouldn't hold together well, crumbled quite a bit, any thoughts?
