A friend was in the process of sending works to be published and I told him he should use a professional/artistic name like so many other writers. So he asked me how to do it. I don't know. It has been so many years my lawer did it for me. I feel guilty I proposed it and made him worry about it when he has no funds to hire a lawyer to do it. So if anyone can give me a little guiding light... please do so!

Workoholism, living to pay bills, or get more money for "?", etc...

Some forms of psychological terror are considered abuse. Why not consider hellfire and other things like such as abuse as well? Not taking children to school to learn about science, history, math and language is abuse. Why not make it abuse to keep them from learning about evolution or their own body... now, in the U.S. we still allow parents to keep their kids from knowledge! Why is that not abuse?

Short of legal and judicially reviewed criminal investigation with proper and reasonable cause... should privacy be guarded at any cost?

With the exception of adequate parental supervision what is an excuse to spy on loved ones? Is it even mildly acceptable under any circumstance? Is there a possible and practical moral standing? _please_absolutely no religious answers. I'm looking for reason/logic only!!!

She has been spying on me for many reasons for a while now. I'm tired of it! Real tired...! She is crazy and insecure... I love her so much! I can't stand it anymore... Every so many days I have to deal with her betraying me and herself. Mocking her own dignity. I'm tired of it and finally I think I might break up with her... Her caward actions have been mining my respect for her. Her constant unearthing of her insecuritie have hurt me really bad. I don't know what to do since I can't bare to see her suffer! I hope I can think of something. But it is so hard to counsel yourself... please help me out!

Why not just talk about what we know or guess about History and allow them to develop their own ideas overtime? With the flexibility and freedom intended by nature and the concept of free will (witch is supported -not logically- by religious text as well)!!!?

There many scientific developments under way that could render some extremely long and/or eternal life(if no instantaneous death accident occurs)! Considering scarcity and the idea that new generations will come, how would we deal with that.

Either we cut birth rate, prohibit some level of longevity, or a combination of both!

Would longevity allowance be a question of merit?

Would birth be allowed only to those who are viewed as possible good parents and/or those who choose to die instead of live indefinitely? How to gage these?

Or would we somehow develop ways to deal with scarcity or even elliminate most aspects of it ? (most unlikely of all)

Is there a different solution?

I mean, they serve no purpose other than create a level of exclusivity during and after college. Silly secrete handshakes etc... come on! Can the coward get any more ridiculous... I remember this thngs back in college and feel so ashamed for them!!! What is your take? Please no silly member self-defences... I was in one for a littler less than 6months, so I know better! I was even able to talk my way out of hazing!!!

I don't believe one needs to lie or defend false assumptions that are generally accepted to be polite!!! What kind of coward stands for that type of polite behavior? What is the moral standing to live in false, yet beneficial, testimony or on top of a wall of convenient omitions never taking sides the right side when it is not popular!!! Are we in such desperate need to belong that we lost all concep of truth and/or individuality?

Many things considered awful today were politically correct in recent history... Some things today are so!

Biological differences between men and women are mostly out now! Yet, viewing men as always more violent than women is OK!

A guy getting slapped by a girl is fine, but the contrary seams not to be acceptable...! Both are violent acts of the same scale! Why are feminists not righting that wrong?

These are the example that ran my mind now... There are example in many other field besides gender. Use your own or whatever! Is politically correctness good or bad for society? can it hide great evils behind current social acceptance or falsehood.

Many great men/women have obviously known what was the right thing to do, yet their actions did not follow.

Eg. Jefferson is known to have wanted to write in to the declaration of independence a way to free slaves, yet he owned slaves due to practicality.

There are many other examples. Take you pick! What is your take on this?

Some people have a view that the past was somehow better. Specially, when all real data indicates the opposite! What is up with such mass hallucination? Why can't people realize that nostalgia is a scape from reality in the longing for some form of idealized past period?

In the renaissance people were still being tortured and enslaved. In ancient Greece people were starving, being enslaved, suffering through war and awful diseases...etc! OK there are rare exception, but that is it...!

Is it a form/sum of its management, board members, work force, physical capital? And if so, can it be labeled as good or evil? As immoral or moral? Who/what could be blamed or credited? Does it truly have a nationality, identity and how would that mean anything? Are any of these human qualities usually assigned to them just manufactured propaganda tools? Think about it!

Someone has sincere reasons with damning yet unconclusive evidence to doubt someone else, but that someone is innocent...! This doubt is also erroding it...! How can this be resolved if actual proof of innocense can't be accessed/provided? Is doubt fair basis to disolve an agreement that has been very beneficial/functional? If so, what is the gage/conditions for such disolution?!?
