have been trying pretty much constantly now since monday to speak to someone as I have a complaint and all I get is that recorded message saying "Sorry, due to high call volumes we are unable to answer your call" - that's fine but really, why let me get to the 5th submenu of the 98th option before you tell me? it's a national number!

but the main point of my question is - does anyone actually work in their call centre / offices? cos their service stinks if they do.

Gutted as I bought a 2nd hand handset after mine broke and now I can't get it set up for internet use etc because "O2 don't sell it therefore can't set it up"

Anyone up to the challenge of proving them wrong? Unfortunately, there are no prizes - just 10 points and heaps of gratitude!

I'm not very technically minded, so excuse me if I don't explain this very well! Is there any software available that can examine the registry of a computer and tell you if there is anything there that is possibly harmful to your computer? Or anything with a virus/trojan thingy attached?

I'm having a real problem with pop-under ads, I don't go on many web-sites and it's happening when I'm off-line as well so I think it may be a virus. I've done so many virus and ad/malware scans it's ridiculous, i've installed a registry CLEANER but it doesn't seem to do anything (plus it's bringing up the same errors time and time again despite me "fixing" them so any advice on that as well would be appreciated!) and it's really starting to p--- me off now. I just want my laptop to work properly! is that too much to ask?? help me please!

I am trying to load yahoo mail on works computer - it's lunchtime and allowed! every time I click onto an email in the little drop down box on yahoo home page it brings me up the SurfControl screen saying "are ya sure?" i click on continue and it redirects me to a page for online gaming! which a)the work system shouldn't allow and b) is NOT what I am trying to do. I've tried doing a virus scan but it just won't work and I'm a little embarrassed to be asking the IT department when it just seems to be personal e-mail that it affects. any ideas?

I am 24 years old and the highest level of qualification i have is GCSE. I have always wanted to study law and have just registered with a local college to do my HEFC access course. However, as I am working full time and due to timetabling at the college I can only study 2 modules the first year and the third one in a second year. Is it possible to do 2 modules at college and one as a distance learning module? Otherwise it is going to take me forever!

what i mean is, can i do 2 modules at college and one as distance learning and still have it count as the full qualification? or does it all need to be done in one way at the same college?
