Okay im having trouble finding a few religions, I know one was (I think) a religion that was around about the time of ZEUS, it was (I think) a Greek religion, that did not deny the existence of the gods, but (technically) did not accept the existence of the gods, and was wholeheartedly based on learning and knowledge, but I cant recall what it was called nor can I find it.

I also wanted to know what other religions had similar concepts, where knowledge was the foundation of the religion.

oh and by the way, the reason its here in religion and not mythology, is because I was asking about other religious existences.

I was just wondering, if a child is raised without ever hearing or knowing about God or the bible, or Jesus, or the Holy Spirit, than where does his soul go? does it go back to heavan or does it go to hell for not believing?

I mean if this child makes it to adult-hood and still never hears about Christianity or the bible or Jesus or anything? Even if he makes it to 100 and still never heres/reads/sees?

I was just wondering, not trolling or attempting any kind of discredit, I mean I know its very unlikely these days, but it is still very possible, and more than likely happening all the time all over the world. I just wanted to know what you believe happens.

This is not a question coming from an Athiest, but it is also not a question from a fellow Christian. This is a question from a man who was at one point both of those religions.

I mean like, I train with weighted gear, like vests and ankle weights and wrist weights. Well before I started doing this, my weight was considered overweight because of my muscle mass. Recently I have been taking long runs through the mountains, and I have developed bone splints in my legs. I also wanted to know if its bad that my weight is over the suggested weight, and if maybe I should slow down a bit on the working out. I am 5" 5 and weigh over 200 pounds, I am considered in the obese range based on weight (lol) because of my muscle mass! I usually calculate how much gravity I have added to my body using the weighted clothing (Just for fun) and I was wondering, how much gravity can a human body stand? because I haven't used more than 1.5x earths gravity (I am short on cash and can't buy any more weighted gear right now lol) or 50% of my body weight. I recently started watching DBZ again (Since I hadn't seen it since I was a kid) and though, I know none of that stuff is real I was thinking, I doubt a human could survive 10x earths gravity, I figure a human at most could do probably slightly higher than 3x before it got unbearable, I was wondering, how much over a persons own weight could someone carry? I mean like how much times ones own body weight has ever been lifted and carried?

I am working on a game of my own, similar to D&D (at least in the fact that it uses dice, and is primarily fantasy) I once found a site where other people had posted their own games, but can not remember what it was, nor how I found it. I have been searching and searching, as I would like to see other peoples game designs.

Also I have been searching for a place where I could find people to play test my game, it is nowhere near done, but I would like to get kinks worked out early on so I don't have to do some major overhaul later. (Or at least not as BIG of a major overhaul, as no matter what when designing your own system there is sure to be more than a butt load of flaws)

I have been searching for a few days now, and can not seem to find either site type... it is getting rather frustrating...

I was thinking a little while ago, ive heard of male witches, female wizards, but never female warlocks.

and to the unknowing, a witch, wizard, warlock, sorcerer, and the likes, are not all the same, and are definitely not the same style, or set of beliefs. So without further tarrying, are there female warlocks?

not trying to offend anyone, but I don't want to go to hevean, I am a good person, always doing what I can to be good, But I am an Atheist(my biggest ticket to hell) But I don't want to go to hell. I don't believe in pure good. because you need something bad to realize the good, you would not be happy in a world without evil, because you would not comprehend or understand evil, you would only know what is and what always will be. So how could you live with yourself not knowing what good is, not knowing what a difference is? not knowing that 2-1=1? only 1+1=2?

I am an Atheist, and I do not believe in God in any way. I used to be Christain at one point. my best friend is a christain, he claims that once your a christain you are always a Christain for God is accepted into your heart and soul.

Me and He(odd use I know) understand each others beliefs and why we believe in them, but choose to stay with our own current beliefs. Neither of us want to change the other, just help the other understand better(making us even better friends every time we talk). I believe the Bible is more of a morale story, with history stewn in it. The more we talk, the more I think how nice it would be fore him to be right and not me. He and I even talked about the end of the world(not saying when, as we both agree it wont be for a long while).

I want to believe that there is something greater, that there is something soo good out there. But I have no way to believe, no reason to believe. Deep down I still have some Christianity, but I consider myself 100% Atheist.

I have too questions, one is:

One number is 7 more than twice another. if their difference is 22, find the numbers.

the other:In a certain clothes store 6 shirts and 3 ties cost $79.50, and 3 shirts and 2 ties cost $41. Find the cost of each shirt and each tie.

I was reading something, it said that an Archbishop bt the name of James Usher, dated the time from Adam, Abrahams ancestor, that the arth is 4000 yrs. old before the creation of Jesus. how can that be so? it says in this book that that is correct, not that i believe it, ut i wanna know how does that prove the age of earth? by saying the time from creation, from adam to Jesus, by ages, causes the earth to have been 4000 yrs old before Jesus, meaning its only 6008 yrs. old now. what about dinosaurs and such?

im an atheist, and i wanna know some more about other peoples beliefs. not so that i can say that your wrong, nor so that i can prove me right. I just wanna know more about you, so that i can understand. Its a fact that people fear what they dont understand, they hate and detest it. so if i can understand you, and other like me can understand you. then wouldnt that mean that we dont hate you? and then if you can understand me, perhaps, just maybe, we could be friends, instead of blood enemies. Tell me without saying: god exists outside of time and space, you just need to believe, without quoting from your book(s), without flaming, without hate, but with true knowledge, explain what you believe in, tell me, the deepest way you can, how you believe, and why.

how are talking donkies and snakes, and people in the colouds more believable than a person with 6 arms? or monkies becoming people? how does what god use to "make" stuff, not look like magic, and yet magic is devils work? i remember reading the bible a few times, and some points god was a floating cloud or fireball...and when moses moved the water...thats kinda magical aint it? and gathering 2 of every animal? how is that possible..i have a farm and i know how impossible it would be to keep certain animals, (especailly humans) together for days, keep them all fed, keep them away from eachother, and from breeeding...youd need some kinda MAGIC spell to do it...or steel walls...trust me wood wouldnt work...i dont think concrete would either...

but if magic is devils work, then why does god and his people use it? turn the egyptians water into blood? catch bushes on fire? turn staffs into snakes? how about talk to people so that others cant hear him?
