My husband died almost 5 years ago. I retired from a full time job (RN) and had a year off work. I have never ever been able to 'move on' since my husband died. I realize now that the grief I have about my husband is called PGD (prolonged grief disorder) I have tried everything to deal with this..12 step program, anti-depressants, grief counseling, etc..church, praying, volunteering activities... nothing has helped - my relationship with my husband was 25 years of the most romantic loving life one could imagine. I have dated a couple guys but those relationships have no real meaning to me. - anyway, I thought if I started working again (part time) maybe that would help 'get me out there'...I am in orientation to be a hospice nurse.... everything I am doing reminds me of my husbands illnesses and death... I have only been there 2 weeks and I cry every day. I feel I haven't really given this a chance and I just want to know if I should give this up... or face death and dying with others as a way to help heal myself as well. Thanks for any comments.

I can't find in the bible that there is anywhere to go except two places, heaven or hell (although Jesus did say there were many mansions in his kingdom (I am assuming he is talking about heaven here)

I know that God if fair and just. But I don't understand how a person who believes Jesus is Lord, he died for our sins, forgives our sins when we ask, and is also God, died in the flesh and was raised from the dead in 3 days....but is kinda 'lukewarm' but has a kind heart, sins intentially at times (too much wine) - sex before marriage with your fiancée, doesn't attend church very often but is still a good person at heart to all people and animals....... why would that person go to hell the same as say Hitler. What is fair and just about that?

any suggestions from anyone who has been on a Christian tour of Israel?

He made a statement that upset me.. he said :I think saying Jesus is actually God is splitting hairs'. He went on to say he thought as long as he was a good person and doing good deeds he would go to heaven.

I don't know if I can consider marrying someone that doesn't believe, as I do, that Jesus is Lord, came to wash away our sins, and was born of a virgin. His thinking sounds too 'new age' and I wonder what 'secrets the Masons are keeping from their wife and loved ones. Any chance this relationship will work?

us that she saw our dad's spirit (who passed away 5 years ago) and he told her he was waiting for her and heaven was wonderful and we would all be together again someday and to get all us kids together to tell us that....she died within 36 hours after that. Was that really my dad? An Angel? A demon? -- the bible says to be absent in the body is to be with Jesus... so what can explain this?

I thought there are several heavens. The Book of Enoch I believe says he was taken to all these different heavens. What is the difference in these heavens and how do I know I will be in the heaven that my dead husband and parents, etc are in ? Thanks for any answers.

I have spent 20 years working in animal welfare. The cruelty and suffering that some animals go through is horrific...rather it is corporate farm animals, satanic rituals, or the multitudes of increasing burning and torturing of people's own 'pets'. I fully believe that Jesus died for our sins. My question is ... Since Jesus was never a animal...and never married to a woman... how can he possibly understand the pain and suffering of animals..let alone, like myself, who only wants to die since my husband died. I understand Jesus died for our Sins... and being perfect... how could he understand or feel these kind of animal and human tortures? I guess to sum it up...Does God FEEL the pain of animals or people ?

hallloween is our biggest event. Had 6 huge funhouses have done all that stuff scareing kids while they grew up..moved up to taking them to cemetary -- leaving recorders (faking evp's on the recorders--last yr hired 2 actors to hold a seance (that was a great one that scared them bad!)--also used cooking oil to put on cars and put handprints all over the cars...in the dark--took them all to scarey place and told them a scarey story and that it was said-- childrens handprints would be all over the cars if we went to that spot..drive through dust on the way back and BAM when the dust hit the handprints...and the kids saw it--scared them great (they still believe every trick we ever played on them..every single one)--so whatever you suggest--gotta be better than any of what we have done..(these are 'seasoned' kids..it will take alot to scare em..and done all the typical stuff (table tipping, tarot, weegie (sp?)..fun houses, money usually no object (like renting a car or some prop we need
