What other website allows free Q&A like Yahoo Answers?

I'd like to continue helping, but I've only helped on this site.

I usually answer only Math & Science questions.

Earth's magnetic fields are changing again, I know we're past due for it to flip again. However, I was thinking that perhaps our electricity generation, radio waves, etc. might have an influence on Earth's field, core, etc.

Do you know the relative strengths and whether our EM waves are strong enough to disrupt earths?

Does anyone have a better word for a 'true friend'?

I mean like your 1 or 2 real friends, not your 20-100 acquaintances?

I can't seem to come up with a great word.

And yes, I play sports, exercise, etc. But I never perspire.

So no natural cooling. I have to soak t-shirts or my shirt to stay cool when working or expercising.

I have a hard time with gut bacterial. And I am on a lot of meds for HBP, cholesterol, diabetes, etc.

I've read that preservatives were only tested for cancer, not other health issues.

I recently talked to a geeky friend and they asked me the question. He said it was a weird answer.

I thought they were the same, and he said I was wrong.

Do you know of any web site designed for smaller kids that shows a picture so kids know what to wear? Like a picture of a jacket when it's cold, long sleeve shirt when cool, a short sleeved shirt when warm. .

Just thought this would be cool for the kids if it exists.

To split CA estate equally, one party kept the house and loan, while the other party was awarded an equal amount in retirement fund that gives a monthly income.

Now the spousal support needs to be recalculated, and one party says the retirement is income and should be listed, the other party says it should be excluded as income as it was awarded in the divorce.

What do you think? I have not listed which party chose what to minimize bias, it might not be who you think. Both parties have some other fairly equivalent income.

REAL: I am searching for a job that I could do even though I have numerous disabilities. I'd like to list my situations, and maybe you could think of a job for me. I'm serious and hope some creative minds can help me.

-I cannot drive cars/equipment due to drugs (24 hr morphene)

-the drugs fade me in and out often, job must allow me time to chill

-Fused left wrist works with limited range, weak, and can last 2-4 hours a day

-carpel tunnel/damage to right wrist. weak, and can last 1-3 hours a day.

-Neck fused in a couple places. limited usage and motion.

- Tinnitus (ear ringing) is severe at about 40%

-cannot work looking up in the air due to neck

-low back fused in a couple of places, limited usage and motion. Some days I can walk, with rest, for a couple hours, some days I can't get anywhere.

-stress causes me extreme pain. whatever I do cannot have stress.

-crutches are out of the question, the next step is a motorized wheelchair

I downloaded the new Apple browser for Windows today, and my first impression is "very fast"!!!!

It feels very smooth, but of course, options and controls are in the wrong place (until we get used to them).

So......., what do you think, is it good enough to take major share from Microsoft? Is this the first of a far reaching effort?

I have limitied mobility and need a digital SLR that I can place in unusual positions (like near the ground). But I need rig to view what the camera is seeing at all times on my remote pc. I might have to stay there for quite a while, and then I want to trigger the shot from the remote pc. By remote pc, I simply mean the short distance to a chair where I can sit and watch.

Any brands, rigs or ideas would be appreciated.

Is there a setup by any of the mfr available?

I've been experimenting with some of the free linux OS's, like Ubuntu. Especially Ubuntu with Beryl is very fun, and seems very PC/Mac like.

But what about installing other software?

Can I install "Office for Mac", or any other "for Mac" software (since Mac uses linux now).

I know the Disney "Song of the South" is banned (Bluebird on my Sholder, etc.)

So what other classics that we all know, are banned from the US. Anyone have the list/link?
