Hi my xj6 is reving up and down on its own and conks out every now and again plus its eating petrol.

I've changed the plugs/oil and air filter and its still doing it.

Ive tryed to kill myself 3 times and failled first was an overdose which didn't effect me at all second was when i hanged myself i passed out then i came to again wondering where i was and what i was doing then last night i placed a tube from the exhaust pipe of my car into the cabin i of course fell asleep then i woke again about 3 hours later. I went from Leeds to brough a 40 minute journey and it cost me £15.45! That is ridiculous the same journey would cost 1 euro in France, I kid you not!!!

Hi there is a 95 jaguar 4.0 xj6 I want to buy but there is a fault with it. The owner told me he had disconnected the battery for some reason then when he reconnected it he has trouble starting the car now, after several attempts it does start then the car runs ok but its every time he starts it.

What do you think it is, could it be the immobiliser would it be a quick fix, could it be expensive?

The catalytic converter has collapsed inside the exhaust of a 91 jaguar 3.2 which I want to buy but I live 200 miles from it. The owner said it can only be driven slowly for at the most 10 miles before the exhaust starts to glow.

What can I do to it as a quick fix to get it home, is there a way I can clear out the cat to make a smooth flow through out the exhaust?

Lets say for example Britain letting go of Northern Ireland, whats that worth to the Treasury, 10 billion a year? Im only guessing that amount but I do know the Treasury has told the Northern Ireland assembly to cut there costs by 4 billion over a 4 year period. A pretty sum I may say and only a small cut at that but imagine what a complete cut would bring to the Treasury deficit, the billions of debt we are in and the cuts being brought upon us here in britain. What about the PSNI? Quite a large police force for such small country 1.7 million. And what does Northern Ireland bring to the table, what do we get in return?

I think Northern Ireland should be given back to Ireland just as we did with India, Hong Kong, Pakistan, South Africa etc etc etc.
