Hasn't it become more of a popularity contest when the All-Star ballot becomes available in April when no one has really had the chance to differentiate their performance from the rest of the field? I think that giving the fans the vote was just a bad idea. But maybe I am missing something, is there a good reason to make the ballot available so early?

Does anyone know where, other than eBay, I can get a fairly reasonably priced factory radio for a 98 Beetle? I just want the plain old vanilla radio, nothing fancy. I just bought a used Beetle and it has a nice after market radio, but I want the original. Thanks.

Are you embarrassed by a church that would carry signs like "Thank God for dead soldiers" and "God hates fags." The majority of Christians would never behave like this, do you agree?

Okay so here's the deal. My oldest brother passed away last year. He and I were very close and of course it hit me pretty hard. He had a business, but my sister-in-law didn't really have a handle on the finances so I volunteered to pay for the headstone and the flower spray. All told about $2000. I did it for my brother because I loved him and for no other reason.

So a couple of days before the funeral my sister-in-law tells me that she already has the pall bearers picked out, two of her brothers and 1 of my uncles. In addition she tells me that she has decided not to put the names of me and my brothers in the paper because my brothers are, frankly, thugs.

At the funeral I felt like a complete outsider, like a funeral crasher, no one even acknowledge that I existed. I realize that she had just lost her husband, but I thought that the whole deal was kind of shitty.

So should I feel bad about being a little hurt and angry about this?

When the power is on and the plug is not connected I have power to it with my tester, but when I hook the plug up there is now power to it. I have changed a lot of plugs before and have never had this problem. I have tried wiring it many different ways and it just doesn't work. I also tried another plug with the same results. Any idea what the issue could be?

I am selling my home in Grant, AL and want to avoid realtor fees. Any ideas on inexpensive ways that I can market the house? I have already done the sign with a flyer and advertised in 2 local papers. Open houses don't do well here because of the size of the community. It is a pretty rural area, which makes it more of a challenge to market it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I am considering buying a house that I would immediately have to build on to. I have about $64k in equity on my current home, but if that is not enough I am considering taking $20k out of my 401k to supplement the building costs. If I do this how stiffly will I be penalized by the IRS for withdrawing the money?

This is a serious question, so if you just want to be mean go somewhere else please. My wife is to embarrassed to ask her doctor, but there are times that she will urinate slightly, even when she doesn't feel any pressure in her kidneys. I think that it could be just the results of having 9 lb 10 oz and 8 lb 10 oz babies. Does anyone know if there is a treatment for this and if so, what is it? My wife is only 32 and she is very concerned about this.

You lose points for asking, but get them back for choosing a best answer, which is a good idea because it encourages you to choose a best answer, but don't you think that you should get maybe 4 points for choosing a best answer? Otherwise, what, other than getting your question answered obviously, is the benefit of asking something?

Is it just that you realize that you're not as smart as you used to think you were, that you lose some of your skills, like you forget how to spell certain words, or is it a combination of both?

I am an idiot. In May of last year I wasn't doing a good job paying attention to what I was doing with my table saw and cut the top of my index finger from the point that the finger connects to the hand to just past the middle knuckle, which of course got my tendon, about 50% of the cartilege in my middle knuckle, notched the bone, etc. I had surgery and 6 weeks later when the pin came out began physical therapy, but was unable to regain any significant motion. Then I underwent a tenolysis and 3 days later began therapy again - same results, a little better motion, but nothing to write home about. Has anyone had a similar injury and were you able to regain any of the motion in your affected finger? I quit going to the therapist and doctor about 2 months ago out of frustration. Should I just give up or is there any hope at all?

inner breeding causes birth defects (Adam and Eve's kids would have had to have kids between the, etc.), wouldn't we all be nothing like what the human race started out as. Doesn't that make sense? And if that is true, why do creationsists have such a hard time believing that we are decended from "ape-like" creatures? Why can't you believe a little of both theories?
