I'm buying a captains bed, with drawers underneath. Is the headboard usually interchangeable with the two ends, so that the drawers that are only on only one side can be oriented either way?

I know the slope should be 1/4 inch per foot, but have a problem trying to do that and keep the entrance flat. I want to build a curbless shower (handicapped accessible) by myself as much as possible.i realize i'll need to hire a plumber but hope to do everything else myself. Thanks for the help!

I have a 2002 VW Passat (with a 1.8 Turbo Engine). I've noticed something weird that is going on in the car. When I go to turn on my seat warmer, it is like I pushed the ASR button (traction control). Then, when I turn on the seat warmer again (after turning it off) The ASR comes back on. Essentially, every time I turn the driver's side seat warmer on, the ASR button will turn on or off. My question is: why does this happen? Also, whenever I push the ASR button, one of the fuses will blow. I believe I have a short somewhere in the wiring. So does anyone have any idea why the seat warmer would control the ASR? Also, does anyone have any suggestions on how to go about fixing this? Thanks!

I have a 2002 VW Passat with a 1.8 Turbo Engine. I have come across a problem with fuse #5. Whenever I push the ASR button (located to the left of the climate controls), this fuse blows. ASR is the anti-slip regulation (i guess you could say almost like a traction control). I would like to try to resolve this problem myself, but need some guidance. Fuse #5 (10 Amp) controls "Instruments, heated seats, cruise test plug, AC." There is a seperate fuse for heated seats, however, that is 30 Amps. Also, there is another AC fuse which also has a higher ampage.

One weird thing I noticed was that when I moved the dimmer switch for the interior lights all the way to the brightest setting, the ASR would be activated. It was like the dimmer control was acting as the ASR button. Does this mean their is a mis-wiring somewhere?

Any help and guidance you can give would be greatly appreciated. I don't even know where I should start. I know I might have to take in into a professional mechanic, but I'd at least like to look at it first. I have never done any of this sort of work on cars so please explain as best you can.

I have a windows 7 computer and I'm interested in getting caller id. I have at&t internet and phone service. I do not subscribe to the at&t caller id because it is too much money and I have been fine without it. It would be nice to get caller id for free on the computer. Does anyone know a good caller id program that is fairly easy to set up and doesn't require the service from at&t. I have DSL internet with a speedstream 5100 modem (if that matters). I upgraded from XP to 7 (Windows) and backed up all my files. I see the Quicken Folder in Program Files but don't know what to click on to open up Quicken. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a dell dimension 2400 if that matters. Again, I see the Quicken folder and files inside but don't know what to click on to open up the actually program. Thanks!

I have Windows XP now. I want to update to Windows 7. I have a CD and code but It won't let me install. It won't let me install it to my external hard drive (which is okay because thats not what i want) but it doesn't even recognize my internal hard drive. It shows up in My computer but no in disk management. I ran some software to get rid of problems on my computer. I've been looking but haven't really found anything yet. Do I need to boot from the disk? Thanks a ton!!

I have a hiking backpack with adjustable straps and on of the clips broke. It is small (no bigger than an inch per side), plastic, and has 2 slots used to securely hold the straps taught. Does anybody have really good tips to get a great deal on airfare. Just general ideas.
