It feels like a rock in my ear and its been there a year and a half. What is it? How do I get rid of it?

I know they all work because I bridged them to my sub amp. They are stock in a 94 cavalier. I'm going to buy aftermarket speakers soon, what is a good brand? Do you think i just need new speaker wire?
