I love to watch movies where people are getting hurt- falling down the stairs, etc. Some of my reactions make people just stare at me like I'm crazy. I can't help it- I love it. The only time it is not funny to me is if it about a kid- I don't like that at all. But old people, grown people getting hurt- hilarious!!!

I have been married 34 years to a great guy. He has a sister who, since their mother passed away- has been awful to me. My mother in law and I had a wonderful relationship and she would sometimes say I was her "second daughter". My sister in law would not let me create a memory board for the funeral- my father in law said I could but my sister in law said no. She took over all preparations- I was left devastated. I loved my mother in law dearly. She says snide remarks and I can't stand to be around her. Now my husband goes to family functions alone because I feel like knocking her out. What would you do?

Can you remember what made a teacher special to you? What is the best thing I can do for my students? I already respect them and treat them with respect- what else can I do?

I'm just curious. I know it's a weird question, but I'd truly like to know. I have been married for 32 years and my husband is my only one.

She influenced me to become a teacher. She taught at IPS #33 in the 1960's. Does anyone know anythng about her?

I turned 50 last week- I still feel good, work full time, and consider myself immature in that I like to laugh at crazy stuff and have fun. How did you feel about turning 50?

My best friend's (and sister in law's) son just got out boy's school about a month ago. He has been in and out because he's stolen, done drugs, drove while intoxicated, etc. He's only 18 and has been in the system since he was 12. We let him come over to our house because he is our nephew and we want him to feel welcome in our home. Last week I found 3 of my most expensive rings missing from my jewelry box. I am 99.9% sure it was him. He denies it. He is stealing again from his sister and his parents. Now my sister in law isn't talking to me, and I'm lost without my best friend. I don't want to press charges, because he would go to big boy jail, now that he's 18. So I'm without my jewelry, my best friend isn't talking to me, and everyone's uncomfortable! Anyone have any suggestions? I don't feel comfortable around her because I'm still pissed off, sad, and feel betrayed by my nephew. Help!

What I mean is, if you say you dislike Americans, have you truly been in America or had a friendship/relationship with an American?
