I'm starting a new novel. It's a thriller/horror type novel. I want it to be set in a small fictional town, sort of like an "everybody know everybody" old, and run down type of town. But I'm having a hard time coming up with one. It's set in the U.S... I'm thinking probably North Carolina... I just need a name for the town where it should take place..... any thoughts?

All I remember from the movie is that it's set in I guess some sort of hospital or lab building an this chick comes in and she's got this weird like alien tongue thing and she goes around attacking people with it and the tongue goes into other people's mouths and they pass out and then wake up with the same alien tongue thing. And I think it ends with a guy and a girl running out of the building and then the building explodes. I saw it on Sci-fi back when sci-fi still had good stuff on, back like in I think maybe 2000, 2001 something like that. I've looked for it online but all I keep getting is some movie called "killer tongue" which is supposedly more of a horror comedy and the alien tongue in that movie talks but the tongue in the movie I'm looking for didn't talk and it wasn't a horror comedy.

I'm looking for websites similar to allpoetry and deviantart where I can publish my literature and art. I am on deviantart and allpoetry, but both sites have become way too inactive and I would like to get on a more serious site like them that is actually active. Anybody know of any?

There used to be this show on scifi (syfy now) and it was sort of similar to tales from the crypt. It was space themed and it always had this one guy and these two little creatures that were like puppets or something and every episode they would go into a theater on their spaceship and watch a short film and you could always hear them making satirical comments in the background while the short film was playing. So me and a few of my friends are planning to go around to a few stores some time this week and do some pranks (like the 101 things to do at walmart type stuff) but we need some ideas on what kind of pranks to do, we want something other than the stuff that can be found on the walmart prank lists.

I've heard that there is a disease the counteracts diabetes... more specifically or to explain this.... apparently if a person with diabetes has children with a person who has the other disease, then there is a chance the two diseases will cancel each other out, making it so the gene for either of the diseases is not passed on to the offspring... I understand that the chance of this happening may be small, but if it is true then please tell me what disease it is if you know, it will help me with another theory I have about another disease. So, I just watch the season six finale of House and I'm freaking out, like way freaking out. What's wrong with 13, I mean, I know nobody really knows exactly yet, obviously since the season finale was just on tonight, but any guesses? It would really suck if they were going to take Olivia Wilde off the show, and would probably result in me not watching the show anymore, but anyway... yeah.
