Redoing a house from scratch. Bought a black gloss kitchen delivery due in the next few weeks. Kitchen and living room open plan, so need to pick colours to compliment both and give illusion of space. Need to choose tiles and paint colours. No idea what colours to choose. Anyone offer ideas please?

When I start up the computer, it takes over 15 minutes before it stops whirling and I can actually do something!!!!!

How do I find out what is running and making it run so slowly? Has Pentium 4 inside, so not that old. Fine after the first 15 minutes. Any help, in simple language please? Cheers, Liz

For some unknown reason, my OE has decided to spell check in French. Started 24th December. Previously, spell check was English UK. Tried going into Tools, Options, Spelling, but only language option is French.

On 24 also downloaded Office Home and Student 2007. Could this have anything to do with it?

Live in a detached house. Have an electric shower Mira Sports 9.5 fitted last year. Water pressure not very good.

Have a combi boiler.

Would I get a stronger shower pressure if I used a shower hose from the bath taps instead of the electric shower?

Would love a hot, strong shower! No taking out of context please!

What would you advise? Can I fit a pump with a combi boiler?

What would be the cheapest car to run, tax, and insure?

Had a man out to look at it. It makes a noise as if its working half way through the cycle, but doesn't actually do anything. Had it running for almost 12 hours before I realised there was a problem! He charged my £41 to tell me there was a leak (there wasn't) Got him back out as was exactly the same as before his visit and he told me it needs a programmer and not economical to fix. Think he is talking rubbish, just forgot to price up the parts, or doesn't want to do the job. Any ideas, and could I do the repair myself?

Had my Ford Ka serviced and MoT in March. Total cost just for tyres repairs and bits was £660!!!!!!!!

Light not working properly, needed new stick. They had to dismantle steering column. Now have this grating noise when turning the steering wheel. Any connection, or just coincidence? Any advise? Tried WD40, no different. Cheers mates.

Had a crown done last year at my dentists, and it cost £200. Broke a tooth yesterday, went to see him today, he says I need another crown. This time its £300. I dont get a 50% pay increase a year! is it possible to set outlook up so that it checks for messages on my yahoo account? Set up accounts for tesco, ntl, and blueyonder, use different accounts for work and play! Cant seem to get it to pick up any yahoo messages, and I have to go into internet explorer and pick them up seperately. Would be so much easier if all sites were checked at the same time. AND IM PRETTY RUBBISH, SO IT NEEDS TO BE AN EXPLANATION IN WORDS OF NO MORE THAT 2 SYLABLES! Thanks all xxx
