Most people believe that LCD TV's use less power than CRT TV's, but this is not true. If you check the power requirements for the same screen size, the CRT TV's use slightly less power than the LCD TV's. The manufacturer's claim that the LCD's use less power. Since they use a flourescent tube for a light source, it would seem that they would be more efficient. What gives?

I am considering buying a 46" LCD TV. I would like to also connect a PC to the TV. In the specifications for most 1920 x 1080 46" LCD TV's, the maiximum PC resolution is listed as 1366 X 768. What limits the PC resolution?

I am looking at a CompUSA ad that came in todays paper. The ad lists a Monster Cable 2 Meter HDMI cable for $99.99, Reg $119.99 save $20 instantly.

You can buy similar cables for about $10. Since these cables transfer digital signals, they either work or they don't. The performance of the $10 cable is the same as the $120 cable.
